I've never seen one in person, so I'm having trouble visualizing the height. My (almost) 2 year old isn't especially tall, but I would like it to last several years without her having to kneel to play with it 
We're thinking of going with the Step 2 Lifestyle Kitchen, but my Mom keeps suggesting a wooden one.
Thoughts?

We have a KidKraft one and C is VERY tall. Its a great height for her.

My 4 year old still uses it and I haven't seen her bend over! She is 43 inches tall.

Yep, B still uses it and he's 5 (he's not too tall for it either, I should add). We have the vintage kid kraft kitchen.

@sorrycharlie: I mean... I guess that depends on how much taller she decides to get in that time. I could see her using it for another couple years at least, though. Longer if her height growth finally decides to slow. She's about a year (!!) ahead in height, if you average it.

Both my kids are tall! N is a 3.5 year old and looks like she's 5... the kidcraft kitchen is still getting a lot of use.

yay, glad to hear! we were going to get her a kitchen for her birthday, but decided to wait til Christmas. so we have some time to watch deals and decide, luckily!

@sorrycharlie: Just FYI, the uptown espresso kidkraft kitchen is taller than the vintage style one. I have the uptown one and a good friend of mine has the white vintage version. The scale is smaller on the vintage version.

We have the wooden pastel kitchen and my two year old (95th for height) has to be on her tip toes to reach the highest shelf!

My daughter is 2 and tall for her age. We bought her a wooden kitchen for Christmas and she loves it! It's very simple but made with non toxic materials and it's extremely sturdy. The company is called Willow Toys.

My daughter will be 3 in 3 weeks and it looks like she has at least 3 more years to use it. She's average height.

It's tall. I like it because I can put stuff on top that DS1 can't reach 
he's turning 3 and slightly above average on height (and agreed to pose, excuse the mess!)
