I did a search and didn't find much - anyone have feedback about kindermusik? I know it'd depend on the teacher too, but man it is pricey! I'm going to do a free trial class this fall I think and then maybe ask for a session as a gift from family??

Bump! Looking for info on this. What is a good age to start? LO is 4 months old. Wondering if it's worth it!

I went with B when he was 15-18ish months and it was way overpriced for what it was. Our children's museum has weekly get togethers where they bring toys, have circle time/music and read stories. It's free too. You might want to check if your local children's museum does something like this.

We've been going for awhile. LO is 2 now. If the teacher is good, it's a great activity. I don't think I would bother until baby is at least old enough to sit, though. We started in the baby class (he was among the oldest, I think it went to 18 mos) and I think all the babies were at least 6 months. I'm sure they will let you take a trial class!

Also, along the lines of what @HLK208 is saying, if your library has a baby story time, that might be worth checking out too! Ours is completely free and really well done.

@Pepper: we did a free session when a was 7?8? Months. He was one of the youngest in the class.. we're taking hin to gymboree rt now and then adsing km back in the spring

@Pepper: I am going to do a free trial once it gets colder and going outside isn't an option - I asked for a gift certificate for the holidays so we'll see!
