Does anyone have a Paperwhite? Do you see shadows on the bottom of the screen when using the light? I got one today and find the shadows to be incredibly distracting.

I have one and that doesn't happen to me either.

Don't think so? This is what mine looks like. You may have a dud though. My first one did this thing where I could see shadows of the previous pages as I moved forward. I took it to bestbuy (where it was bought) and told them and they exchanged it. No probs with this one in a year and I use it a loooooot.

@mediagirl: hm. If I turn brightness to max (which I never do) I see a tiny bit of that maybe? But I always keep mine in the bottom 1/3 for brightness.

I have one and haven't seen shadows like that.
