This is the random documentary I'm watching on Netflix tonight. What have you watched on Netflix recently?

We just watched that on Saturday! I found it fascinating, but unfortunately I was exhausted after a long day with LO and having watched "The Iron Lady" beforehand. So I did fall asleep half-way through - but NOT because I was bored, lol.

@meredithNYC: I did the same thing!
It was really good but I feel asleep about 3/4 of the way through. I still don't know how it ends.

@Mrs. Monkey: I think it's just that it's such a "quiet" film, you know? And then having to concentrate on subtitles didn't help! But I definitely want to finish it.

That keeps popping up in the recommended for you....I'll definitely check it out now.
@LittleFox: We watched Queen of Versailles - crazy!
I've been marathoning the new 90210. I actually don't like the show but I'm five seasons in and I WILL FINISH IT. >_<

@LittleFox: Ohhh, I saw that one, too! Yikes, huh?
The other thing I recently watched is "Nursery University," which I think has been discussed here. Man, that made me happy to be out of New York. It was just insane and I really disliked some of the parents they profiled.

@meredithNYC: Yikes is right! I also saw Nursery University and was very glad to not be in NYC.

@LittleFox: @meredithNYC: we saw Nursery University. DH always jokes around and pretends to be Juliana's (pushy) dad when we discuss school stuff. LOL. I know someone who sent their kids to Mandell School, but she said the actual process wasn't that bad in reality. But yeah, the parents were a little annoying on there, but so were some of the school administrators... it's just preschool!

I actually saw Jiro Dreams of Sushi in the theater, but I'm also a bit of a food/restaurant nerd.

@SAHM0811: Oh man, Juliana's dad = the worst. I cringed every time he spoke. Also, the blonde woman who eventually moved to Boston. Just... no!
It's funny because although I am glad to be out of the craziness that is New York, I still miss it a ton! We're not too far away, so I'm lucky to be able to make occasional trips into the city from CT. I also know that it's possible to opt out of the "crazy" if you really want to - like that one nice couple who ended up sending their daughter to a normal, non-competitive school.

I loved it, planning a trip to Asia next year, added it to my wish list.
