What was the last really good book you read or movie you saw?

Parenting related but I REALLY liked Bringing Up Bebe. It sticks out in my mind even though I've probably read 15 baby books in the last 6 months! It's a story which is nice, along with tips, and it was super entertaining!

I saw The Chef, The Judge, and Cinderella and highly recommend.

The imitation game. A good mix of geeky and not. Loved Benedict cumberbatch and Kiera knightly. Loved some of the mixed meanings and of course the computer and programming.

I think it's call Wild. Reese Witherspoon plays main character . It was really good!

@Charlotte: The movie was amazing! I cried so much, which might have had something to do with pregnancy hormones, but it was a great movie anyway. I would really like to read the book, but I'm not sure when I'll get the time now.

I just finished A House in the Sky - a memoir of a Canadian journalist Amanda Lindhout who was kidnapped in Somalia and held for 15 months. It was so well written and riveting!
As for movies, I saw cinderella last week and loved it

DW and I really liked The Grand Budapest Hotel. Although I realise that Wes Anderson is a bit like Marmite: you either love it or hate it!

I finally read Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg and thought it was fantastic. Wish I had read it when I was 22.
