Has anyone had to wait several days after a missed period to get your BFP? I am approximately 16dpo and got a BFN. Still no AF.... holding on to hope!

My friend did. Her period was almost a week late before she got a BFP, but she wasn't charting or doign OPKs, so she wouldn't know how many DPO she was.
Do you know how long your luteal phase usually is? Mine was really long-- 17 days-- so at 16 dpo I wasn't even late yet.

@Claire.Peonies: I am holding out hope for you as well!! Fertility Friend has me currently at 12 DPO, but I don't expect AF until July 21 - despite fertility friend saying I should expect her on the 19th. So I don't know... I say you are still in the game until the nasty AF comes.

It has lengthened ever since I have started B6 and the longer I have been off of BCP. It was 9-10 days and the last two months it has been about 12-13 days.

I finally started, I blame it on the B6! It is good, but totally is making me feel too optimistic. I am going to cut back and take it 1 -2 x/week this cycle and see what happens
Are you AF-less? What CD is this? I have my fingers crossed for you!! I know I suggested B6 as well to you, so it better not be doing the same to you or I will feel awful, but glad that it fixed your LP too I guess- but you are going to get your BFP Good luck friend! FX and TX (toes crossed)

@Claire.Peonies: Still AF-less but FF is messing with me and my O date. OPKs and temps tell me CD21 making me 14DPO but temps alone tell me CD28 making me 7DPO. WTF?! I don't know what's going on...

Late to the party, but I had a really regular cycle and had a BFN the day AF was due. I made myself wait 3 days before testing again and getting a BFP.

@lamariniere: Do you know how long your LP was or how many DPO you were when you got your BFP?

@LindsayInNY: I'm not totally sure since I wasn't tracking (I only tracked CM) but my last period was March 14, I likely ovulated around March 25-27 and AF should have arrived April 10th. BFN on April 10, BFP April 13. My cycles were pretty regular 27-28 days. I hope that helps!
