I'm on CD 18 today and still nothing. I thought I was close because my CM was getting clear and liquidy. I have been temping this month and am usually around 97.5-97.6. Yesterday I was at 97.2 and I thought that might be an ovulation dip. Today I'm back around 97.5!
Any ladies out there who ovulate after CD14? I went off BC in October and this is my first cycle with an actual period so I'm sure my body is still confused, but I was so hoping that I'd be ovulating!

In all of my months after going off BCP, I ovulated after day 14! It was anywhere between day 30 and 15 (though, the longer I'd been off BCP, the shorter my cycles got). Hang in there, many times it takes up to 6 months to regulate!

I am always after day 14 - I typically have 38-40 day cycles (have been temping/charting for three years) and the only times that I have shorter cycles are when traveling or sickness gets me "off." There's nothing wrong with long cycles, it just varies by woman.
Since it's your first cycle after going off BC, it might be a bit of a flux. I had strange cycles post-BC and post miscarriage, so it can just take your body time to regulate itself. Each time, I've been back to my normal around the three-month mark, if that helps at all.

I've never been on BCP and I o between day18 and 20. You could still be ovulating this cycle.

I always ovulate between CD 21-23... I've had an average of 36 day cycles since coming off BCP in October of 2011.

Out of my three post bc cycles, I've ovulated on cd 18, 18, and 20. So I guess im a late ovulate too. Has anyone heard about late ovulation being a cause of a lower quality egg being released?? Or is that only an issue if you ovulate like cd30 or something?

My cycles have been regulating since my MC. So far I've ovulated on approx CD 26 and around CD 23. Hoping this month is sooner. And it appears that my LP is around 12 days. So I think if my cycles were 28 days, I wouldn't O until CD 18.

I think I am still regualting myself from going off BC as well. First couple months was between CD 12-14 for O. Currrently on CD 17 and still have not. My temp took a HUGE dip the last couple days. Never had such a low dip like this in the few mos I have been charting. Still figuring out this all myself.

@rescuemom10- I'm glad I'm not the only one confused! I guess we can't really "figure it out" and that's what's most difficult for me. We just have to let our bodies regulate and hopefully it's sooner rather then later!

I O on CD 21 (last four cycles) and I have an 11-12 day LP. Certainly makes for a short TWW! I'm actually 3 DPO today.

I typically ovulate between CD 18-23, my cycles are around 30-35 days... I also seem to have a shorter LP...
i always thought I O'd earlier until I started using OPKs & realized it was much later than I thought!

@hellobeeboston- I used OPKs the first month I went off BC but when AF took a couple months to come I got frustrated and stopped. I think I'm going to use them today and tomorrow though and see what happens. Btw...I live north of boston!

@arielle9510: yeah, i had a couple months early on when i used an entire box trying to figure it out when it was - but the last 2-3 months I've become more aware and just ended up having to use 1 test & got a positive! i'm north of the city too!

I usually O on CD 23, but on Clomid this cycle I O'd on day 18. Using an Ovulation Monitor has helped me out tremendously and I would reccommend it to anyone with longer cycles that are harder to predict.

@ARIELLE9510- Totally! I too went off BC in October, so still trying to figure it out myself. Cycles keep getting longer each month and O keeps coming later and later. Its frustrating I know. I am sooo with you there!

@Rescuemom10- Sorry your cycles keep getting longer! I hope our bodies regulate soon. That's good that you are charting. I started this month and I find it very helpful. I feel more in tune with my body.

Agree! it does really help to at least see SOMETHING happening even if its taking longer and longer to happen. At least I know WHATS going on and when. Charting has been really helpful and I am so glad that I started when I did. Heck I actually wish I would have started sooner!

@arielle9510: I usually ovulated around CD 28-38. Yuck. I once had a 65 day cycle.
I second using OPKs and charting--makes you feeling like you're DOING something.

FF confirmed O for CD21. This is only based on temps though because I hadn't really been paying close attention to CM or using OPKs. The past two days my temps have been really close to my coverline, but still above. Starting to doubt that I even ovultated

My temp has been dropping the past couple of days so I think AF is right around the corner. Which means I didn't even ovulate...sigh
