I'm testing the limits of that right now. It's 9 pm and I'm drinking coffee... alas I kinda have to, as I have some work to do but am about to keel over!
What's the latest you can drink coffee and still fall asleep at a reasonable hour that night?

I can only handle a small amount of caffeine and it has to be before lunch! It's awful!

At this point, I'm sure I could drink coffee at 9 and go to bed at 930 but I have a 1.5 year old and a 2 week old....I love my sleep too much to actually test it though! I usually have an am cup and a cup around 3 pm with no problems

I can drink it right before bed and be fine haha. I only drink coffee 2 or 3 times a week max though.

when i used to drink coffee regularly, i could drink it any time of the day (even 10 pm) and go to bed fine.
for me, being active late keeps me up more. for example, if i go for a run late at night or go to the gym late, i have trouble falling asleep.

I can drink caffeine anytime and it doesn't keep me awake. It never has. It doesn't really perk me up in the morning either. I just like the taste of coffee.

Before I got pregnant, I could drink coffee any time...and fall asleep any time! Now, I've found I'm a lot more sensitive to caffeine, so anything after about3-4 pm has an impact.

I'm like my parents - we can drink coffee at any time and still have no problem sleeping. I'll go to the diner at midnight and get some. My husband has to cut it off by 6pm or so.

@mrbee: Any time.
I grew up in a house that always had a coffee pot on.
It was nothing to have a cup of coffee with my brother or parents then go to bed.
