It is a winter coat from Children's Place, it had some dirt and mud from playing outside so I soaked it in Oxi-clean for about an hour. Now the black color has bled all over the rest of the coat (orange with white stripes). It looks horrible and I am so mad! I have washed it many times before and never had this issue.
I tried re-washing it on cold and it did nothing. When I looked up what to do google said soak in oxi-clean but that is what caused the problem!
Anyone have a similar issue and what did you do? Help!
this happened with a red corduroy jumper that got wet in the hamper and was sitting next to a white collared onesie. I was so mad at myself. A bunch of soaks later you could barely see the bleeding. But I did pick up those color bleed sheets and I use those all the time now!!
