Do you think Lauren Graham was better as Lorelai Gilmore, or do you like her better now as Sarah Braverman?
I just finished watching GG (all 7 seasons for the millionth time) and I'm now watching Parenthood. I think I like her better as Lorelai, but I love her in anything

I never got into Parenthood. She will always be Lorelai Gilmore to me. I really like the name Lorelai wanted to consider it but my husband HATES Gilmore Girls so he wouldn't even discuss it!

I haven't watched much of the Gilmore Girls, but I love Parenthood! I love/hate Sarah. She's fun, but I think she cries in just about every episode. I kind of want to shake her and tell her, "Get it together!" but that's part of what makes her likeable.

I love Parenthood. Gilmore Girls doesn't do it for me at all. So I'm not sure if I'd like her better on that show, but I really don't care for her in Parenthood...

Her Sarah character has the essence of Lorelei for me... I don't think they're too far off from each other... so I like her as both!

Lorelai was funnier and and funner! Love Parenthood, but I think the writing makes her character not as fun.

I'm only in the second season of Parenthood and while I like her as Sarah she'll always be Lorelai to me.

I actually couldn't get into Parenthood because of Lauren Graham! I wanted Sarah to be more like Lorelai and watching her be kind of whiny and pathetic drove me crazy! I couldn't keep watching!!
I LOVED her in Gilmore Girls. She'll always be Lorelai to me.

I voted Parenthood because that's my new favorite show. I always liked Gilmore Girls but didn't love it as much as I love Parenthood!

Sarah, even though she is always making dumb decisions! I like Parenthood better so that's probably why.

Lorelai for sure! She does a great job as Sarah, but sometimes I just can't help but see her as Lorelai.

Ok...after watching plenty of Parenthood this past week, I can make an informed decision. I like the change in character for Lauren Graham, but all in all, I don't really like Sarah Braverman. She's annoying about her kids and can't get it together. But, I think she plays the role really well.

@Dandelion: I completely agree! I think Sarah is the weakest link on an otherwise stellar show, but it's definitely not the actress's fault. her character just makes the worst decisions all the time and it's aggravating to watch. never watched gilmore girls though so no basis for comparison.
