Okay Bees, I need some advice.

I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant with my first child, so I have nooooo idea how I'm going to feel about any of this once the baby is here.

One of my good friends from college is getting married at the end of July. She's having her wedding at a hotel resort and has a block of rooms reserved for guests. At the time of the wedding, our baby will be roughly 20 weeks old. I'm planning on EBF, but the baby should be taking a bottle at this point since he'll be in daycare at 12 weeks.

The rooms require a two-night minimum stay, so if the wedding is adult-only (and I honestly have no idea if it is or not), that would mean two nights away from the baby and I'd have to pump while away. Does it seem realistic of me to think about leaving the baby at 20 weeks with grandparents while I go to a wedding for two nights? The resort is an hour from my parent's house, so my other option would be to leave the baby with them for the evening while we attend the wedding and then have to drive back to their house after for the over-night portion. This means no drinking for Momma and probably leaving the wedding early, but would presumably eliminate anxiety about leaving the baby and would probably be easier for all involved (though maybe less fun for us parents?)

What do you guys think?
