If you had a c/s how long did you have to stay in the hospital?

I was induced and had an unplanned C-section and was in the hospital for 5 days.

I think it's 2-3 nights for our local hospital

Had him at 8:35pm on Friday and went home around noon on Monday. They were going to let me go home on Sunday afternoon but I asked for another nights stay because i was struggling with breastfeeding pretty badly and still hurting a bit.
That one day changed everything! My doctor said he was glad I made the choice to stay another night. I left much more confident.

I had an unplanned csection and stayed for 5 days.

Had baby early Wednesday morning (3:29!) and was home Friday morning by about noon.

With DS I went in Wednesday for an induction and had him that night. Is csection. Went home Saturday afternoon
With DD, it was a planned csection on a Thursday and went home Saturday afternoon again

Unplanned c section Thursday at 8pm and I was given the option of leaving Saturday but I left Sunday because lo had to stay. 3 days is the norm - letting me leave at 2 days is rare.

Had c section Tuesday early morning and was released Thursday early afternoon.

I had an unplanned csection Thursday evening and was discharged on Monday. I could have left on Sunday, but my OB wasn't in to sign the papers due to the weekend.

5 days. Unplanned c-section and they kept me an extra day because of a fever/LO an extra day because of jaundice (so it would have been 4 days, if not for those things).

2 days with my 1st (military hospital)
3 days with my 2nd (reg hospital) -
We stayed 2 nights after the c-section, but 3 nights in the hospital total. I went in at 1pm on Wednesday to be induced, ended up with a c-section at 6am the next morning on Thursday. We could have stayed an extra night but we were ready to get home by then.

In my hospital, 48 hours after the birth was standard for a c section.

Had baby at 8:28 am Wed, and went home 1:30pm Saturday. So, 3 nights, 3.5 days. I could have gone home Friday if I had really wanted to, but they said it would be better to stay another night. We got a private room that last night, so we opted to stay and get more breastfeeding help from our really great nurse!
