Sorry no pictures, but we get or and to as souvenirs when we travel so looking at the tree each year is a great reminder of places we've been.

I have a delicate crocheted snowflake one that my mom bought me a few years back that I love. We also do what @regberadaisy mentioned and buy new ornament for each other and for the kids every year, so basically all of our ornaments have special meaning to us.

We have a glass angel that is always at the top of the tree, that has BIL's name with date of birth - date of death on it. WE treasure it because every year we get it out we use it as a way to talk about the uncle DDs never got to meet. He passed away when he him and DH were kids.

Everyone's picks so far have been special memory-inducing ornaments. We just received a few personal, baby-on-the-way ornaments, but my favorites are still the ones I bought a couple years ago after Christmas. Once placed on the tree this antique-y mirrored ornament with green ribbon applique ribbon is my favorite.

I have an ornament that I made when I was 5. It's a star that I'm pretty sure is Styrofoam. The front of it is covered in red glitter and my picture is in the center. Growing up, I always placed that ornament at the bottom of the tree and right in the middle so that Santa would see it and remember me. I know it's silly but I was so happy when my mom let me have it for my own tree and put it in the exact same place. And I love that DS1 loves to look at it and loves that the picture is his mommy when she was little.
