I think there have been some on Fermara. From what I remember of those posts is that they either were on cloned or Fermara. I think it depended on insurance. I think people responded well on it. So sorry I can't be any more help.

I don't have any experience with it yet, but from my reading, femara will be my first choice for meds. There were some poorly done studies that made it look like a scary drug, but it was bad science that has been disproven by other studies. I'm on my phone now so I'm not going to look for them now, but you could easily google & find 'em. My reason for wanting femara over clomid is for the most part to avoid multiples. Twinning with clomid users is 1 in 10, I believe femara is more like 1 in 33. I've read most ppl have few, if any, negative side effects. It leaves your system rapidly, so you & a potential fetus aren't exposed to the medication as much, actually it's completely gone by the time implantation takes place so the fetus isn't even exposed to it. Clomid thins out your uterine lining & dries up your CM, femara doesn't.

So those will be my reasons for going that route. Hope it's a positive experience for you & ends with a BFP!

I am starting it tonight, so we can compare our experiences! It only cost me $3.77 with insurance!

This is my first month on Femara. I just finished my last dose and am waiting to O. The side effects weren't too bad. I was really emotional and had a few hot flashes. Hopefully it worked for me.
