I just discovered that my crock pot has a small crack. I put water in it and it doesn't appear to leak through.
Anyone ever had this problem? How long do crock pots last??

I've read this can happen if you put cold water in it while its still hot( or drop it of course. I would personally not use it for fear of if cracking more with hot food in it:( I know my mom has one that's over 20 years.

I'm depressed that the crockpot we got for our wedding is dead already. The one that was my husband's parents wedding gift is still alive and kicking, though... But I liked mine better!!
