My dog did something to her left leg or paw on Tuesday. She wouldn't put any weight on it, but otherwise was acting normally. My husband wanted to wait 24 hrs before taking her to the vet. Wednesday and Thursday she seemed back to normal, walking on all fours, so I didn't take her. We tried to keep her off of it, but did let her walk around the house (i.e., did not keep her crated at all times). I think she reinjured it again Friday morning, as she wouldn't walk on it at all on Friday or Saturday. My husband saw her walk on it this morning, but then she went down the stairs before we could stop her and stopped putting weight on it again. She doesn't seem like she is in pain today... it did seem like she was really hurting on Friday, but yesterday and today she is eating and seems fine.

I can take her to the vet on Tuesday, possibly Monday without missing work... but if she needs to go asap, I can take her to the emergency vet. We have pet insurance, but a $200 deductible.

Anyone have experience with this? Or any vets around? WWYD? I tried calling her vet on Tuesday, but they wouldn't give me any advice over the phone, just told me to bring her in.
