We have a bunch my sister got for my baby shower (kids book themed) years ago. My three year old loves them and has for the last six months or so.

If you have a kindle fire... there are a lot of free little critter books in the amazon fire book store! They are digital books and you can read them yourself or have it read it to you. They are great! LO loves them. I read them to him most of the time but it's nice sometimes to let the book read itself to us.

@Bao: I'm sure you've thought of this, but have you tried your library? Ours has a little section for "character" books, and there's a Little Critter section.

My DD loves Little Critter. We have a couple board books and just got a bunch of paperbacks through her preschool's Scholastic order. DD is almost 2.5 and has been into the series since she was a little younger than 2.

Both my kids love the Little Critters books! I never had them but DH liked them too. We only have a few - the one about the snowman, new baby, and a double book, Just Me and My Mom/Just Me and My Dad.
Funny thing - MIL gets so offended if she buys something that we won't use or already have but she bought the Dad book and LO1 saw it and yelled out that we had it. I just played up how much he loves it but she was all huffy for the rest of the visit. Drama over Little Critters!
