Do you have an LLBean coat? I am thinking of getting one and am curious if anyone has one they love?

I haven't tried them before, but I haven't been able to find a maternity coat. I sized up and ordered this one in plum. I'll let you know Tuesday when it's delivered

I have this one and I adore it. They run a little big (all LL Bean stuff does) http://m.llbean.com/product.html#42358

I have this one in plum, and it got me through Chicago's polar vortexes and brutal winters. Like others say, it runs big. Mine's a small, and I'm a 6-8. Two thumbs up! http://m.llbean.com/product.html#78728

I have had this one for about 7 years. LL Bean makes stuff to last. http://m.llbean.com/product.html#64946
While I don't love the look of the coat, I think it is THE thing to wear when it's miserably cold out. The only thing that could improve it would be to make it ankle length! I also love that they make petite sizes.

FYI, LLBean is amazing. Free shipping and lifetime guarantee on ALL items. Literally. If your coat zipper splits in 10 years they'll take it back!

My mom sent me the 3 in 1 coat for my birthday but it is way too short for what I typically wear (leggings and skinny jeans).
I really want this one (orange picture) http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/75227?feat=504728-GN2&page=goose-down-hooded-parka but it's all sold out in the "normal" colors. Orange is the only color option left. I'm not sure orange is really all that professional if I want to wear it to work...
So, I'm considering this one (in black):

My mom bought me one of those 2 in one coats (puffy insert that can be zipped in or out) when I was in middle school. I'm in my upper 20s and still use it to this day! I have other winter jackets but I can't justify getting rid of my LL.Bean because it is so awesome. Well worth the money.

@mediagirl: Dang it, I've been looking for a new winter coat and the orange one is EXACTLY what I need....why must it be orange?!

@MediaNaranja: right? My friends are trying to convince me to buy it in orange.

@mediagirl: your friends are right ;). I have a store nearby if you want me to see if they have it in other colors!

@mediagirl: I think the Orange is nice! I'm pregnant though and don't want to look like a pumpkin as I expand! Our office is professional dress but I don't think anyone is judging your winter coat. Plus, I don't walk around the office with my overcoat on. Just in morning, if going out for lunch, and evening. An orange suit-yeah they'd probably judge that lol!

@mediagirl: @MediaNaranja: Do you have a brick and mortar LLBean nearby? If you go in, they can check the inventory of all of the stores (online you're only seeing what the warehouse has in stock) and if there is a black one available somewhere that store will ship it to your house for free. It's called a "pick and ship," they do it all the time. Definitely go with the goose down over the Winter Warmer... I didn't think the WW was all that warm.
Source: Worked there for 3 years and FWIW, that goose down parka was my favorite coat- though in the end I bought the "ultrawarm ¾ length coat"- sacrificed some style for a little more warmth.

I have this one in Paperwhite. Don't use it much since I moved to Florida but it is the warmest coat I have EVER seen or owned and I still use it when traveling. Great quality. And I can wash it!!

@mediagirl: I love the orange one! Orange wouldn't be my first choice but I think I might suck it up and get it because it looks soooo warm.

@thismustbetheplace: sadly there aren't any stores nearby- I live out west. I'll just keep looking, I guess! Although y'all did convince me to get a pair of new ski pants from llbean
