They have to get used to the noise! Or you'll never be able to do journal things in your house! She usually falls asleep out here and we transfer to her to our bedroom. We don't use a monitor-we can hear her just fine, and we go to bed shortly after

I have a feeling it differs from baby to baby and how old they are. My friend's daughter woke up when they went to bed and slept better in the crib, but I think that only started to become a issue closer to 6 months.

Our LO slept in our room for 7 months and never woke up when we came in. We tried to be a bit quieter when going to bed but we didn't alter our normal routine as we wanted her to be able to sleep through noise and lights (dim lights of course, but lights nonetheless). She never had a problem and was sleeping through the night by 2.5 months. I do think it very much depends on individual babies though!

Lo doesn't wake up when we go to bed. Dh even turns his light on to read without waking her.

We have her in her crib pushed up against our bed and just watch her on the video monitor before we go to bed. She doesn't usually wake up when we come to bed but does sleep much better in there once we are in bed too. It works well for us because I love to be able to check on her easily through the night.

P has been in our room since birth & from about 2 months on we would also co-bed (now we co-sleep/co-bed with a sidecar set up).

As a nb P would fall asleep in the rnp downstairs where we were & then we'd take it up with us when we went to bed. At a few months old we'd put her to bed in the bassinet portion of the pnp around 8 and then we'd go to bed around midnight (she would get into our bed normally around 2-4). At 7 months we got her crib & she'd start off the night in her crib & then after her first waking get into bed with us. At 11.5 months we started the side car set up & will continue that for... idk how long.

We've never really had issues with her waking up when we went to bed, if you think about it your lo has always heard ya'll do to bed so it's familiar sounds. P has always woken through the night, but I know that's normal behavior for her as an infant/toddler & have tried to welcome it as insurance to keep my supply up. =)
