At birth P was 6lb 1oz & 20 inches! She was measured as 18.75 inches at her pedis off but figure that's just measuring differences between the 2 places. She's still tall for her weight but on the small side of "average".

I was 7lbs 15oz when I was born and 23" long...a little string bean! I was too long for most NB clothes right from the beginning, and always above the 99th percentile for height (length?) as a baby.

I'm 5'10" now, so I'm tall, but I also have a mum who's 5'7" and a dad who's 6'4", so I was never destined to be short DH was a more average length at birth (19" or 20") and is somewhere between 5'11" and 6' now. Will be interesting to see where our LO ends up.

DS was 8lb 12oz and 20" when he was born, but was 21.5" at his 5 day well-baby and 25" at his 2 month. I don't know how long DH was when he was born, but he's 6'1", and his mother and brothers are all about the same height (except FIL is like 5'7"--and he was the tallest in his immediate family!). I'm 5'3-4ish, so I'm betting DS will take after his dad.

My baby was 6lbs 9oz at birth and 20 inches long. I think she was considered to be long.
I think 20 or above is considered long?
At her 7month appointment she was just over 27 inches.

My girl was 20 inches long, and I was 18. My husband is tall, and I think she will be too. Or at least not as shrimpy as me.
