LO can easily spend an hour on one side for night feeds. This is killer for me and obviously cuts into his sleep as when I return to work we'll have a hard enough time getting him 10-11 hours without accounting for 2 hours of feeding time. I suspect he gets lazy and dozes off (we keep him swaddled/reswaddle him after diaper change so if he nods off we can quickly put him down but even when I'd unswaddle him it took forever). I'm hesitant to cut him off though because I think he's still getting something even when he slows down, and sometimes he gets a "second wind" and swallows lots near the middle/end.
For comparison, he does both sides in 20-30 min during the day.
Is this typical? Is there anything I could/should be doing differently?
He is 9 weeks.
ETA I only give him one side now at night bc it takes so long... So it's 2 night feeds of an hour each.
