If you EBF, what is the longest you go in between feedings? I've been up for an hour waiting for K to wake up (she's a noisy sleeper so I thought she was waking a few times). It's been 9.25 hrs since her last feeding. She did 9.5 hrs ONCE but that was almost 2 weeks ago. I just keep thinking I should wake her up to eat. But I don't want to wake a sleeping baby! (She's 11+ weeks)

At that age I think the longer I went was 10 hours? But that was only a few times..I would let her sleep, unless you're really uncomfortable!

I would say by 10 hours or so I would wake her up. Have you pumped?

The longest we have had is 4.5 hours.

8 hours. It's only happened a couple times and each time I feel really guilty and sit by her PnP waiting for her to wake up. Everyone (midwife, LC etc.) has told me to let her sleep though...

8 hours, but that wasn't until P was almost a year. Before that we went max 5.5 hours!

The longest DD has gone is 4 hours and she's almost 10 months.

The longest DS has gone is probably 9 hours. I know how tempting it can be to wake them up though! If it helps at all, our pediatrician said babies are capable of going up to 12 hours between feeds, if they are sleeping, after 8-9 weeks.

At 11w L was sleeping 12+/-. She just picked up her feelings during the day. The first few days I woke up rock hard and soaking wet, but it regulated quickly.

I've gone 13ish, but LO is a year old. At 11 weeks we were going 10+ overnight.

We have gone 9.5 hours twice.

LO 4.5 mo and we've gone 11 or so. When she first started STTN, I used to lie in bed and root for her to wake up because I was SO uncomfortable. DH laughed at me the first time this happened because she made a noise and I jumped out of bed and joyfully declared, "She's up!" I do hate waking her and have only done it few times -- and never for my boobs.

I did 9+ a couple times at that age. But not regularly. My boobs always killed! But sleep was so nice!

The longest she's slept so far is 5.5 hours! Although usually it's me that wakes up and we do a dream feed. My midwife said not to let her go more than 6/7 hours and she's almost 5 weeks.

I guess I get more worried than anything. If it weren't for the video and AngelCare monitor, I'd probably be in there checking her breathing!@hilsy85: @T.H.O.U.: @oliviaoblivia: The interesting thing is that my boobs never really hurt from engorgement anymore! I guess that's the "regulating" working? But this reminded me to go pump the other side and I got almost 4 oz.!

@BlueWolverine: I've totally done that when engorgement was painful. Like "c'mon baby! wake up!" Even when she stirred, I've tried feeding her a few times but she was too sleepy to even take it!
