Anyone done a feeding therapy evaluation? We have one scheduled for tomorrow for my almost 5yo. Just wondering what others’ experiences have been. I only got to speak to someone in scheduling so I have no idea what to expect.

We did one with our son, it was when he had just turned 6 and basically, we had to bring a bunch of different things that he liked to eat, like things that you eat off of a spoon, things that you bite, things that you drink through a straw.
We videotaped it and we had a diagnosis in about 10 minutes in, so we kind of changed gears. I talked at length with the clinician, so I knew exactly how the 2 hours would have been spent, and what the follow up plan was.

@looch: interesting! Thanks for your reply. I filled in a detailed questionnaire already and they said that’s all I needed for this eval. I have been making a detailed list of all the foods he eats in preparation for the appointment because it’s hard to think on the spot sometimes!
