My LO is almost 14 months and he is obsessed with "bean bag kids" apps. They are storybooks that are interactive. We have little red riding hood and Pinocchio. They are very annoying, but he loves them

16 months and also loves those FP apps. Especially the Puppy Play app with all the videos.

Sadie is 16m and her favorites are the free FP apps, one called "toddler animal pop" (I bought all the animals, because she likes it so much - $1.50), one free one called "animal numbers," and Sandra Boynton's "Blue Hat, Green Hat," which is like $4, but it's worth it - it's her absolute favorite.

I have to say I never spend money on apps. Not worth it to me. Well I spent money on the "endless" apps for J and 10000% worth it. Endless ABCs, Endless 123s and Endless Reader. I am astonished - he has learned to count and recognize/name 90% of the letters and knows the sounds of letters for about half the alphabet. LOVE those apps.

He also loves lazoo (free!), PBS kids, Daniel Tiger and Dinos A to Z.

22 months and the Endless Apps!

@Mrs. Pen: Are the endless numbers and reader apps always free? The ABC one is 6.99$ and the other two are free right now. I wonder if they are just "lite" versions.

At 10m we don't really use apps with her but once in awhile she will watch one of the Sandra Boynton apps and she really likes those. Although she just grabs at the screen and ends up closing the story down...

@Mrs. Pen: olive taught herself the alphabet completely by herself with endless alphabet! she loves endless reader now.

check out the games from sago mini -- some are free and perfect for younger toddlers.

@delight: the free version is really annoying because the kids keep trying to click into the paid letters. anyway it's totally worth it to upgrade. best app purchase for us by far!
