So I had a very interesting conversation with several people about naked baby pictures.
I need to break this down a bit.
It is about giving printed pictures away and who it is okay to give it to.
Giving physical/printed naked (frontal nudity) baby pictures of your LO?
edit : I have another thread... I originally didn't have frontal nudity so people were answering with bum pictures!

I voted that you can show but have to give back - BUT..... for DD's announcements she is naked and you can see her butt - we sent those out to family and friends - so maybe I am ok with it?
never a vagina or penis pic though!

Baby buns are okay for family, but I wouldn't give fully nekkid pictures to anyone!

Maybe I'm a prude, but I don't think it's ever okay to give away or even SHOW pictures of naked (frontal nudity) babies or children. I don't even really think you should be taking pictures of them naked.

Oh I voted wrong then. I assumed you meant naked butts. I would show close family a naked picture (they've all changed his diaper!) but not print them or give them or post them.

I'm kind of with you!
The only pictures of nudity I have are bath time pictures... I try to keep them modest but sometimes they move too quickly! I usually crop them and delete the original when I have time.

Oh I voted based on butts, not penis! Butts I'll show family and friends but wouldn't post on social media.
Full frontal I would only ever show my sisters and maybe parents if it was extra cute. I don't think I'd even print those. I always crop bath photos before sharing them with my family.

I have no pictures of my son with full frontal nudity. It's never crossed my mind to take any.

@Raindrop: Yeah, I hear you - I've taken bath pics and shown them off too, but I always crop so you can't see anything and I try to position myself when taking the picture so I won't accidentally get anything in the photo anyway, but sometimes they move and stuff gets captured.

Shoot, I voted wrong too. I've given away naked butt pictures and posted them on social media (private accounts)... never frontal nude though.

I wouldn't even show full frontal. If I have one on my camera roll, it's by accident. I'm always shocked when people post photos on FB of a brand new baby being weighed in the hospital and you can see all their business.

In general I don't find naked babies cute. I may take some naked baby shots, but certainly don't plan to share any frontal nude shots with anyone. There's one cute bum shot I have pinned where a baby is sitting next to his teddy bear. Both bums and neither face (baby o bear) face the camera. To me, it looks artistic. That's the most I would share with my family and friends.
