B's tongue is always out. Always. He can put it in his mouth but chooses not to. It is hanging out in every picture of him and people are constantly commenting on it.

I asked his pediatrician about it at his 1 month appointment and she said we would just keep an eye on it. According to her, his tongue might be a little big but she didn't see anything else wrong anatomically. She also didn't think he had a tongue tie though, but I took him to an ENT anyway and he had both a tongue and lip tie, so I am not sure how familiar she really is with the anatomy of the mouth.

I asked the ENT about it when B had his frenectomy and he said the frenectomy could resolve it. It has been a few weeks though with no change.

Has anyone else's LO had this problem? Did they grow out of it or should I seek out another ENT for a second opinion? He has been doing it since he was born.
