Approaching my mid-30's and noticing more sunspots/freckles. I know my skincare regimen needs an upgrade from face wash (aveeno) and moisturizer (kiehls). What do you use? I would love to switch to Sheisiedo bc its great for Asian skin, but can't make my cheap self to splurg on the line... Convince me please!

I started using Philosophy Miracle Worker Dark Spot Corrector recently. I don't have sun spots or freckles, but I have some discoloration from acne. It's actually done a really nice job fading those. http://www.sephora.com/miracle-worker-dark-spot-corrector-P294201 ETA: unfortunately, it is not cheap.

I have a ton of freckles, and all i can suggest is to switch to an spf moisturizer.
My mom had a ton of freckles/moles removed when she went to Korea and that seemed to do the trick. I guess that'll be my option when i'm 60.

Totally following for this!! I've been religious about SPF but my mom and grandma both have wonderful skin but lots of age spots and they're multiplying on my face now

I paid $40 for clinique's dark spot corrector and it totally blew up my face... wherever I used it, I can't tell if it faded dark spots because it just created wounds on my skin. I may have needed to buy more SPF to put on top of it, but I already use a lot and it still blew up my skin. Do you need to apply something over this? or do you just use this alone? over or under your moisturizer?

Retin-A to fade the spots, improve skin elasticity, and (practically) erase fine lines . . . and sunscreen, every day!

@mrs. wagon: yeah, I use the beautypedia website to check out the effectiveness of the products I buy, and this one was rated well. I was very wary because my chin is a very sensitive area.. I all get all my hormonal acne there . It's been about 2 months and the scars are almost gone. I use it only at night, under my moisturizer.
That's a bummer about the Clinique product, I had heard good things about it? -
@T-Mom: I have no idea what happened... I got it right when it came out and I didn't buy the strong SPF lotion they recommended (it was another $40!). I was super bummed since it was so expensive. I am going to check out this one though!! Thanks for the recommendation!!
