@meganmp: Good question!
I was heartbroken that I could not EBF. To watch another woman nurse my baby would probably kill me. I don't think there's anything wrong with wet nurses if the mom is comfortable but I can't imagine being forced to use one.
But I also can't imagine being married to someone who would actually sue me for not breastfeeding for 2 years so hopefully this is one of those laws that are more symbolic?

@LindsayInNY: I gave birth in NY shortly after the latch on campaign and I was really worried about facing pressure from nurses etc to BF when I planned to formula feed. I actually didn't receive any pressure but the campaign was quite aggressive so I see your point.
What the UAE are doing is aggressive and misogynistic. I'm sorry to say that I suspect that this is a tool to keep women at home.
