I updated my low hcg thread but wanted to say here that my second number came back at 164- so 52 hour doubling. I'm shocked. The midwife said we can do more betas if I want or wait til a scan at 7 weeks.
I still don't really believe this can end well!

@knittylady: What did you decide to do? I think I'd lean towards the 3rd beta since the numbers are still low.
I thought about skipping betas the next time I get pregnant, but since I'll be on progesterone, I'd rather know earlier that it wasn't progressing normally than go into an ultrasound to be devastated, you know?
Not saying that is going to be your case, just sharing my perspective!

Hey y'all! I've been off of the boards for the last few months because we were taking a *much-needed* mental break from all things trying to conceive We're excited to be back in the game again now and I'm feeling positive enough that I might actually want to participate in a POAS board again
2017 can only get better than 2016! ...right? Right?!
Cycle Day: CD 15 & I should ovulate today
TTC Cycle: We're officially at a year. Ugh
Ovulation Date: Probably today!
POAS Date: St. Patrick's Day! Come on Luck O' The Irish
Baby #: 1
What's up this month: This is our first full cycle of acupuncture for fertility! I started last cycle, ironically on the day I ovulated, and even just two weeks of acupuncture/herbs/cupping helped even out my temps immensely and it was the first month I didn't have horrible cramps before my period since I got off BCP!! That alone is worth a hallelujah! I have also added in Vitamin E, Evening Primrose Oil, Pomegranate Juice, and Red Raspberry leaf tea this cycle to hopefully thicken my lining up.
For Fun: What do you look forward to when spring begins? February and March in Florida are just gorgeous so I look forward to spending time outside, going out on the water, and having all the windows open- as I do right now
Sending positive vibes out to everyone!!

@mrsbubbletea: I'm sorry you are feeling discouraged today. We started trying in August for #2 and while my husband was definitely on board, he had a lot of stress at work in the fall that didn't leave him with a lot of extra brain power to discuss all the TTC stuff. Ever since things slowed down again at work and he is more relaxed we have been able to talk about it more and he has been more aware of my cycle and asking me to remind him when it's go time each month! I hope you are able to find a balance that works for you both, but I did just want you to know I understand. It's hard when you need to talk TTC and your DH doesn't!

@mrskansas: My doc told me days 3-7 are for activating more follicles, whereas 5-9 makes the eggs that are already maturing more robust and healthy.

Back after a much needed vacation and now enjoying a much needed 3-day weekend to recover from vacation.
Last night on the plane ride home my husband asked if we should BD when we got home. I was only CD 11 yesterday so I told him that wasn't necessary since we'd be getting home at midnight! First thing this morning he was like "Well..?" So we did. I appreciate him wanting to know where I am in my cycle and taking initiative.
Seeing my friends and meeting their babies (one 19 months, one 8 months) was really wonderful and also sort of difficult. I tried to quash feelings of jealousy and longing and just be happy for them - which I genuinely am. Though they are both older than me which gives me some hope that I'm not running out of time. And they were both really supportive and for the most part didn't say unhelpful things like "Just relax!"
Going to try to be chill for the rest of this cycle, but I say that every cycle and then I inevitably freak out. Really hoping to get a positive OPK this month without Clomid, since it seemed to shorten my LP. I see the doc 3/8 to talk about my LP and if we should try something other than Clomid. Until then, there's not a lot I can do besides BD a lot!

Still waiting for AF to show so I can even start this cycle. Probably related to this being my first month off BC. Hopefully any day now, but it may end up that I don't POAS until early April. Will still follow along here though

@bushelandapeck: I'm sorry you are waiting for your period. Do you want me to keep you on the list?

@snarkybiochemist: maybe for a few more days. I generally have a short LP so it's possible I could still try for the end of March. I'll keep you posted!

Happy weekend everyone!
I just wanted to wish everyone who is POAS this month so much good luck
I really hope things work out.
I'm seeing if it is helpful to try not to think about TTC or baby related stuff. There's not anything I can do now anyways - hcg is still high enough that hpts are blazing positive, and even if my hcg was lower, I have to allow the hematoma (bruise) that caused the miscarriage and other bruising that may have resulted from the D&E time to heal. Between the exhaustion, hormones, disappointment, and stressful stuff at work, I've been feeling pretty low. I want to see if making a concerted effort to focus on what I have - rather than what I don't (a viable pregnancy) - will help me to feel less bummed. I hope that when I come back that there are a zillion

So I just wanted to post, I had an appointment yesterday and my betaHCG was only 78 at what should have been 5 weeks 2 days. I am really trying to stay positive until I get my repeat done in 48-72 hours.

@MsMini: so glad you updated because this morning I was thinking of you and meant to check in. Sorry to hear it wasn't a resounding good sign but I hope you can stay positive until you know more. Hang in there

CD1 for me today....here's hoping I can still squeeze in a test on 3/31 as it will most likely be 10-11DPO.

@knittylady: I think I will get a lab tech to draw it on my shift tomorrow night so I can get a print off by the morning ... so just shy of 72 hours.
Keeping you in my thoughts as well.
