    @jhd: Sorry sister.

    @knittylady @msmini: Still pulling for you both

    @madisonbee: I guess that's a good thing? How do you feel about it?

    Sorry for not responding to everyone's unique situation. I did read all the posts I missed while on vacation but it's hard to keep it straight. Like I need to start a log to keep track! But just know I'm here for each and every one of you.

    @bizwitch: I feel like I need a spreadsheet to keep track of everyone, but that does seem extreme

    Took an OPK this morning - CD 14 - and it came back negative. I'll try to remember to take another one this afternoon.

    It's a bit discouraging because the last two months on Clomid I got a positive OPK with FMU on CD 14. But I know each cycle can be different... I just hope I do ovulate on my own this month.

    Sometimes I am so over all of this and just want to start the application process for foster-to-adopt. Other times I have more patience. Yesterday DH and I were able to spend the entire day cooking and working on a home project (a built in cat tower using a branch from the woods behind our house) - and I was able to feel some gratitude that we have the freedom to do things like that. But also I just really want to be a parent.

    @snarkybiochemist: LOL I know! Easier to just check in regularly.

    @bizwitch: That too.
    My unmedicated cycles after a medicated cycle I got my positive OPKs, CD 14 or 15 and I only tested in the early evening after a few hours hold. I have never gotten a positive OPK with FMU. I then ovulated CD 16-17. Good luck getting timing right.

    @bizwitch: I feel good about it in the sense that now I know I'm starting a new cycle, but not looking forward to the confusion that comes with it. This past cycle was 55 days and had 10 days of spotting.

    It's almost like each cycle is like opening a gift....where there's a box within a box within a box until the very end.

    @madisonbee: Good luck this cycle, I hope its shorter and involves less spotting

    I am posting from a weekend at my MIL's house and man do I feel judged sometimes, I feel like I have to defend everything I do and she offers her input on everything, even if we don't ask for it and its usually on things that have no bearing on her life. Like the color of our kitchen appliances or where my husband and I go on vacation.

    @snarkybiochemist: Dear God that would drive me crazy! My only complaint about my MIL is that she's really spacey and almost TOO positive sometimes. I'm like, can't you just complain about something once in a while? LOL! Counting my blessings!

    @madisonbee: FX for a more typical cycle this time.

    @bizwitch: Oh compared to a lot of people I have it good, she only expresses her opinions like this when we are with her, but it does grate on my nerves and I figured if anyone would understand it would be you all

    @jhd: sorry about starting your period

    Forgot to take an OPK last night but I took another this morning and it's looking very close to positive. Will test again tonight. I think the lines look closer in darkness in the picture than they do in real life. Last BD was yesterday morning, I told DH we'd be going again tonight!

    I've taken 2 doses of Clomid and I am feeling the side effects. They are fairly mild but still annoying.

    Hope everyone had a great weekend! Happy Monday!

    Had my f.u appointment with the RE today. HSG was all normal. Also apparently the progesterone of 11.4 ng/ml was also normal and means I have ovulated. I could have sworn he said >= 13 and I tried to clarify this with him, but he said >= 3 means ovulation...Either way, 11.4 ng/ml is within the ASRM guidelines and I think their cut off is 10 ng/ml....So...we are left an "unexplained infertility" diagnosis. I somehow feel worse than when I did when I thought the progesterone was low. =/ We've decided to wait until my 28th birthday to try clomid. I feel so frustrated.
