@anyajenkins: sorry Hopefully March is our month!!
@fotolori1: I'm sorry you're feeling discouraged I stopped testing this month because the BFNs were depressing me more, so now I'm just waiting for AF to begin, which should be today. TTC is such a trying process; I'm hoping that March is your month!!

@theotherstark: at least we can be cycle 3 cycle buddies, that is the silver lining I'm thinking about adding preseed to the mix this time, did you like using it?

@fotolori1: I'm sorry honey. I hope you have a BFP soon.
@anyajenkins: sorry you are out this month. I hope you get an end of march BFP!
@theotherstark: hmm you still may not be out then.
I hope we get to see this month light on fire soon! It's a gloomy and cold day in Portland. We are getting one day of polar vortex, then cold rain tomorrow. It will warm up after that but the weekend is a wash. Need a BFP on this board to warm us up!

Happy March everyone!
Does anyone else get intense O cramps? If I didn't know any better, I'd be sure AF was coming today with how much pain I am in. Blah! At least I can be sure O is happening this month.

@anyajenkins: sorry you're out:-(. Cheering you on for this cycle.
@holisticmama: so glad you got good news from doc!!! Does this change his original prediction about odds?
@mrsmccarthy: Hoping for a nice long LP for you this month!
@septca: wouldn't it be nice if we could time these things well with work? Hoping it turns out well for you, no matter what!
@theotherstark: still holding out hope for you!!!!
Love and baby dust to all!!

You guys, the TWW is killing me! I just want to test all.the.time, but I know it's still way too early! DH's birthday is coming up on Monday, but that's still a full 7 days before AF is due. Is it worth (secretly) testing that morning just in case I might get a + and be able to give him the best b'day present ever? Or no, because I'll be disappointed if BFN? This is my first real month of testing, first month I'm sure I o'd..and of course I'm going crazy with symptom spotting (hungry, sore nipples, felt faint yesterday, localized cramping/twinging). Talk some sense into me
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Gigi2: 7DPO is *really* early to test. If a bfn wouldn't disappoint you too much then why not? But just know that it's likely you'll see one, even if you are KU.
The TWW is killer!

@Gigi2: if you want go ahead and test early but it is early so
I wouldn't be disappointed with a BFN.

@littlek and @crystal - thanks! it is good to have confirmation/commiseration that it is really early to test. I should wait. I really should!

@Gigi2: TWW is rough and i always think I am gonna be cool about it till i get there and lose my head all over again.
Ladies i got a MONDO glob of EWCM today at CD7. WTF? maybe i'll see what OPK says but that seems early.
cherry / 132 posts
@Mrsmccarthy - nothing about me is cool right now! haha. Thought I would be a lot more relaxed than I am. Oops.

Okay I need some expert advice. Got a big glob of yellow ewcm about an hour ago. I took an OPK and its very clearly not positive but its also not stark white so I'm wondering if I am gearing up for an early ovulation??? I had an unusually light period this month with just one day of heavy heavy bleeding then mostly light or spotting the other days. I have cut back significantly on nursing my son during the day though we are still going strong at night. I wanted to try temping this month but so far that hasn't worked out. I usually ovulate around cd 15 before my son and cd 17-21 since nursing. Should we get down or should I wait for a positive OPK?
nectarine / 2834 posts
@Crystal: Thanks -- did you have a D&C. Today was my first day without spotting (9 days p d&c), and i'm just wondering how quickly my cycle will return/regulate? How was yours?
@MrsMccarthy: when in doubt - BD!! I'm also a big proponent of BDing at least every other day.
nectarine / 2079 posts
@MrsMccarthy: are you sure you aren't already ku and the bleeding wasn't really your period? Otherwise, as tidybee said when in doubt, BD.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@anyajenkins: @Tidybee: @Radish: I guess I should try to get in the mood. Unfortunately I had a fight with my husband and I sort of want to punch him in the far right now. He is acting like a complete jerk today. Wouldn't you know it.
@Tidybee: I don't have any experience but I hope you get a normal cycle soon. It seems to take most people at least a cycle to regulate but I've also seen people have their take home baby immediately afterwards. I hope that will be you!
@Radish: ya know part of me wondered this too but I feel like f I was I would have an alarmingly dark OPK not a near positive. I am also kind of afraid of wasting a cheapee pregnancy yet just to see that always depressing stark white negative. I also could not feel farther from pregnant right now. I hope you see ovulation soon!!!

Well, I had unprotected sex for the first time ever yesterday. This is my opk today. I am not sure if I am good excited or actually terrified.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@lilyofthewest: that looks like a very positive opk so hopefully you had good timing.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@MrsMccarthy: what day are you? You may be having a wacky short cycle. I got a positive OPK at CD9 and had a 17 day cycle.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@littlek: oh man that would be so annoying but not surprising with how wacky my cycles have been. I am CD 7 today.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@MrsMccarthy: mine usually look like that a Day or two before they become positive, so you can wait until tomorrow if he made you that mad today. I hate when we get in fights on days we have to bd.
@lilyofthewest: good luck!
@Tidybee: I did not, they were scheduling it if things didn't progress naturally. I know there are lots of other women on the board who have, though.
nectarine / 2079 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Yeah, I'm not sure what a positive OPK when pregnant looks like. I'm finally starting to see signs that I'm gearing up to ovulate. I'm thinking sometime in the next 2-4 days. We are starting ED today until like 3dpo.
@Gigi2: I totally feel you. I would only test that early if you have wondfos or frer and expect a BFN going into it.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Radish: it's really dark! I took a pregnancy test earlier though anyway and it was negative. So looks like I may ovulate early this month. We shall see. Good luck to you to! That's a lot of BD!!!
pomelo / 5607 posts
For what it's worth, my opk's after a few weeks (maybe when I was 6 weeks?) were REALLY dark. Like, I doubt it would be possible for them to be darker.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Torchwood: I've been curious to see a positive Wandfos HPT next to a wondfo OPK, because I think many people use OPKs as an early pregnancy test because the HPTs start really light.
Though I know they aren't reliable as an early pregnancy test.

I need advice on my chart:
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/38ea73/
After inputting my temps from today, it says I ovulated FIVE days ago. If I discard the temp from CD 31 (the temp spike that immediately went back down on CD 32), it says I haven't ovulated at all. Based on CM and CP, I would've thought maybe I ovulated CD 27/28. What do you guys think?
nectarine / 2784 posts
@Adira: I would agree with cd27/28. On the days with open circles, did you temp earlier or later than usual?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Adira: I'm going to say it hasn't happened yet. Sorry, sweetie! When I was still BFing a fair amount, I would get multiple patches of fertile cm before O.
nectarine / 2834 posts
@lilyofthewest: I remember that feeling when we began TTC. It's so scary to take hch a huge step in your life!
nectarine / 2079 posts
@MrsMccarthy: aw. Well early ovulation is better than late. Hopefully that LP is solid this cycle.
pear / 1697 posts
@thou: @mrsmccarthy: @littlek: @anyajenkins: @tidybee: thanks for the support. When sweetie got home last night, I told him my opk was positive, and explained that it means it is vaguely possible that I could become pregnant from a single instance of unprotected sex.
Totally failed to get it on last night -- I'd fallen asleep on the couch by 9:30. Oops. Definitely going to make time today.
