@tequiero21: @Freckles: I think I'll wait a bit longer than tomorrow because I'm really not convinced I am but I'll sure let you know when I do.

@MrsMccarthy: I had the squinti-est of squinters at 9/10 dpo in the afternoon. I showed it to my friend (a doctor, btw) and she couldn't see anything. I then took another one later that night and saw that it was a touch darker. You never know!! I know they are pricey, but FRERs worked way better for me than Wondfos or digis at first.

@MrsMccarthy: I am Really hoping you get your BFP!! I had a good feeling about March being my month ( for some reason). So hopefully April is your time!

Update: I'm no longer sure if I Ovulated or not. 3 days of positive OPKS and missing temps...I am now in the unknown. If I ovulated when I think I did I would be 4-5 DPO. I'm feeling mentally drained and full of questions! What's wrong with my body???!!!

@luv2beamom: ugh I am so so sorry honey. I feel the same because...
Checking CM and found spotting. Didn't think I was pregnant anyway but super bummed that I am gonna have anther short LP. Oh well with all the night nursing I can't say I'm surprised. Not an official rollover yet but getting close. Hope April brings me better luck (and a sleepier baby)!

@luv2beamom: oh no, so sorry to hear my cycle buddy has this happened before? Are you gonna keep testing to see if if finally turns negative? My only thought is maybe you have a super long surge...
@MrsMccarthy: I know you are saying April is your months and I think it will be too as you continue weaning!!

@MrsMccarthy: I'm so sorry! Was your LP at least a little longer?
@snowjewelz: Thanks...I got tired of POAS. I feel discouraged! I've never used OPKs so I didn't really know it was wrong until I looked more into it. But I am on Clomid, and apparently it could take a couple of days for a egg to drop. Here's to hoping!

@Radish: So sorry to hear It always sucks to get rolled over... A lot of people seem to have good feelings for April tho, so I really hope next cycle is it for you!
@luv2beamom: Yeah, it really gets to be daunting to do it everyday! If you're not gonna test, try to BD these few days then and you should be covered!
FF finally confirmed O for me thank goodness. So I'm in the TWW now!

@snowjewelz: Thanks. I'm most likely skipping this next cycle because my due date would be pretty much on Christmas (depending on when I ovulate). I'm really just hoping for a short cycle this time and normal PMS (it has been bad since weaning) and hope May will be good to me. So happy you are finally in your TWW! Late ovulation is the pits.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Radish: I don't particularly want a Dec-Feb baby, but I'm afraid if I don't keep trying it'll just take even longer! It really is so much easier to have a short cycle. Otherwise the torture just gets prolonged
honeydew / 7295 posts
@snowjewelz: thank you doll! I hope I am right about April.
@winniebee: @littlek: thanks ladies!
@Radish: sorry it wasn't your month either. The likelihood of you delivering on your due date would be slim but it certainly would be within a week or so. I hope the break gives your body time o regulate so you can get a may BFP
Peed this morning and there was no blood but I am not brave enough to go up and check CM as I have a feeling there is spotting waiting for me. Last nights was light but there was a tiny clot just like in the past with short LP.
I wish my little guy wasn't freaking out so much about weaning. I seriously wish I could show you guys a video. He freaks!

@MrsMccarthy: @Radish: I'm sorry ladies...but i'm optimistic about April for you both.
@snowjewelz: That's great! Fingers crossed for you!!

@snowjewelz: Tell me about it. I was up to 38 days but now they seem to be getting closer to 32 which is my norm. Man how nice a 28 day cycle would be.
@MrsMccarthy: I'm actually not okay with anything from Dec 13-27th as a delivery date. I would worry my whole pregnancy about going into labor on Christmas day as well. It is just not the route we want to go. I would rather have my kids be farther apart (at this point). I still have 6 months of TTC after this to get a baby in and have them be two grade levels apart.
As you can see, I weaned and it didn't magically help me, so I wouldn't stress too much about the weaning. It seems like a you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't thing.

Good morning all. It has been sort of an emotional roller coaster morning for me - great meeting on advancing my career, really bad news about our daycare situation. Ugh. Sometimes I hate living in a city. But it's a busy day and I can't dwell on it too much.
I am sorry to all of you who are out or feel out... TTC is just a really sucky battle.
As promised, tested this morning at 9 DPO. BFN. Shocking. Not really, but I did stare at the stark white test for longer than was really necessary because I was so confused because I *feel* so pregnant (which is of course code for pyschosomatic craziness!). It's early, I know. I'll test every day until 12 DPO, then just wait for AF (due Tuesday).
honeydew / 7295 posts
@winniebee: I will have to look that up. I could use any help i can get at this point.
@Radish: that makes sense. And you are right. That's the main reason i am trying to cut way back but holding off on the full wean until age 2. I really dont want to wean too soon only to still be twiddling my thumbs. I am not young so i can't let it go too far but I think i can let it go a bit longer since this was only month 3.

@septca: oh man do i know what you mean about being sure you are pregnant. Not this month but the first two i was so certain. Sorry about daycare but glad work is at least going better.

@septca: So sorry you're having a bad day! I hope it goes by fast!
You're almost there! At least it is early and you still have plenty of chances! Fx for you!
I'm only 3DPO and I'm already stalking the TWW symptoms thread. So I know crazy!
nectarine / 2079 posts
@MrsMccarthy: @septca: I also "knew". I'm honestly wondering what is up, because I can't make up some of these symptoms. I'm wondering if weaning is still screwing with my body. Although I think all the intense cramping may be a PP thing.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Radish: how many months PP are you? I have read that aside from nursing just recovering from childbirth can take a good while and make our hormones out of whack. I know a lot of people not nursing who are still regulating. And this is also true if you are coming off of any kind of BCP.
nectarine / 2079 posts
@MrsMccarthy: 15 mo PP but only 5 cycles. I didn't go on any birth control (never have been on it). It has been 2 years since I got KU with LO, so I can hardly remember what PMS was like before, but I know my period always took me by surprise so I doubt they were anything like the cramping, backache, CM fest I'm having over here.

@Radish: hopefully May gets you that BFP if you're unable to try this next cycle!

Haven't been on this thread at all this month, as I've been trying to relax about things a lot more.
3DPO here. I O'd earlier in my cycle than I have in the past 5 months, but I'm still not expecting to be pregnant. Our timing seems pretty good...O-3, O-1, and O. I'm trying not to symptom spot (although all day today I've been noticing every.little.thing.)
I guess I should know by Saturday if my LP is still around 5-6 days.

@Radish: So sorry! I will see you in the May boards though! I agree about the PP crazy symptoms. I cramped like crazy just before AF and was so convinced I was pregnant. Bah!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Keppa: I'm 3DPO too! My BD timing was O-3, O-1 and O. I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot but it's hard! I've been gassy, and have A LOT of pinching sensations all over the place. Super tired tonight (fell asleep waiting for DH to come home). But none of these are that conclusive IMO... I hope we both get our BFP!

@MrsScallop: I'm glad I'm not alone (but not because it sucks). I really hope the intensity of them fade away over time...

@ABCmrs: thank you!
@dc yoga bee: LP is looking to be just like last week. Spotting started late last night and I expect it to ramp up tomorrow into full bleeding for an 8 day luteal phase which is better than the 6 days I started with bit still no where bear where it should be.
@Keppa: good to hear from you honey! Are you still nursing as well? How often? We are still going strong at night over here.

So, I'm thinking I experienced EWCM for the first time this morning! I'm CD34 currently. I stopped using OPKs and taking Mucinex back on CD28, thinking there was no way I'd be ovulating due to the PCOS, but now I have this tiny glimmer of hope. Will take an OPK this afternoon (and will try to be good about a nice long hold before I take it). Current plan is to start Provera to induce a period at the the end of the month, then take Clomid for the next cycle, but maybe I'll O on my own and not need to? It's a long shot, but I'm allowing myself to be a little bit excited this morning!

@ABCmrs: That's great news, lady! Glad to see this update. GOOD LUCK!
pomegranate / 3921 posts
I'm at 14DPO today, or so I think based on my crazy OPKs. No period, no positive test (I tested at 12DPO). There's a chance I ovulated a little later than I thought, but I'm starting to think maybe I didn't at all. I'm going to give it through the weekend and then start doing a little digging at my midwife's office. CD52 is no fun!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Yay, at least there is progress so that next cycle is looking good!
@ABCmrs: Fx for you! Seems like the Mucinex works!
@mfa_lady: x___x That CD # should not exists! I think it's a good idea to wait through the weekend and maybe test one more time. Fx!
