We just purchased our new home and unloaded everything from our pod so now I'm looking at some new master bedroom bedding but I need some inspiration! Show me yours and all the pieces that make up your bedding (euro pillows? Throw pillows? Quilt? Comforter vs duvet? Etc...)

I love Dwell Studio. We have one of their duvet sets- but use our own less expensive sheets.

I really like West elm duvet covers, and they are actually pretty reasonably priced. The sheets are not that soft though, even after a bunch of washes.
This is the bedding we have and I got some coordinating pillow cases in that tan color, then we just use plain white or beige sheets. No fancy throw pillows but we do each have three pillows on the bed since we are high maintenance.

I love llbean bedding. I have a print sheet set with a solid navy duvet cover. The pillow cases are in the same print and white.

We have the Ikat in Frost Gray from West Elm. No additional throw pillows. Just the standard pillows that came with the set and the duvet cover. We bought a complementary bed sheet from Ikea, and two additional regular pillow shams for our bed.

I'm looking for a new duvet right now. I actually just want plain old white, going for a hotel style. I'm actually having a hard time finding what I want, or finding what I want in the right size!

@Foodnerd81: I've been eyeing some stuff on West Elm. ...it was actually sheets and shams, glad you told me! Hahahha I'm guilty of high maintenance pillow wise... DH sleeps with a pillow between his legs and then I got hooked too so we have four! But those euro pillows look so good too....... Damn you Pinterest!

@lamariniere: we are on the same path my friend! I was actually thinking all white with grey quilt and grey/faux fur throw. Our bed is light grey though so I may have to add some sort of color. Are you worried about it getting dirty all the time?

@ms.jellen: I like the white and grey! My bed frame is white, a somewhat shiny white lacquer. Our summer blanket and sheets are all white and we have 2 LOs. Everything still looks good though! I just need to transition the style to fall/winter! @lamariniere: oh that's great to hear about your all white bed still being all white :). Omg those throws are to die for! I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a cheaper white duvet cover and shams from Amazon that will be in tomorrow... Just to make sure we'll be ok with DD and our dog before I pay the bug bucks for all white. Let me know what you end up going with, I'd love to see. I can tell our taste are kind of similar ahhaha

@ms.jellen: I need some new bedding! I've been looking for months but I can't decide what I want/want to drop $$$ on a new comforter.
Currently we mainly use a quilt, I LOVE it! DH doesn't care for it, I'm thinking possibly a duvet, but synthetic because DH is allergic, but he's also such a hot sleeper so I don't know if I wanted a heavier comforter... lol. Sorry for rambling, this is why I haven't bought anything.
Here is our current bed set up, black patterned quilt, with either brown, beige or cream sheets and furry 'cow' body pillow haha. -
I can't remember the brand of this one (nor can I find a tag without ripping the whole bed apart) but we got it from Macy's and I absolutely love it! The set actually came with the three throw pillows so they're all perfectly coordinated.
ETA: This is a duvet cover, which was our preference as it is easily washed (essential with white bedding and two LOs!)

@lamariniere: I love all white too! There's something so fresh and clean about it.
I really like west elm designs but I find them scratchy and not soft at all - might be due to the 200 thread count. I bought one duvet cover bc they had a huge sale and dislike using them...I will usually have a nicer flat sheet underneath.

We have white duvet covers and shams (the pearl embroidered ones) from Pottery Barn. The shams are monogrammed and both are embroidered in porcelain blue. We have one summer and one winter weight comforter, both from the Company Store. We were considering adding euro shams in a pattern, but I like the simplicity of it for now.

I'm jealous of all these pretties! DH and I can't share a blanket without driving each other nuts, so we just have our own mismatched but comfy ones. I currently sleep under a TARDIS blanket.

Yes the duvet cover is what we decided on for that exact reason... need to be able to wash it. My DH was like we can just take a comforter to the dry cleaners.. and I looked at him like he was crazy.. I know I don't have time to pre plan and take a comforter to the dry cleaners and pick it up by the end of the day......

@snowjewelz: Our sheets are from target... and they are seriously the softest ones ever. I'm definitely keeping them.. the best part was when I went to go pay she couldn't ring it up and she was like oh i'll just charge you $20 for them... and I asked if she was sure???? and she said yup, it's our fault for not putting it in the system. STEAL.

@Freckles: I just learned about the flat sheet.. I never really thought about it when it comes with a set... silly now in retrospect to never wonder what the hell it's for but I just put it on our bed last night since it's too hot for our full comforter but perfect to put with the quilt.

This sounds crazy, but IKEA's Gäspa sheets are really nice - they wash so well. They're listed as 310 thread count, but test way higher.

@Torchwood: I have been so tempted to do separate blankets sometimes, but it would annoy me too much that we could never make the bed. But there are nights that I threaten it for sure.
@WinterBee: we've had duvet covers and comforter inserts for years and I do love that I can wash just the cover in our small washing machine. But putting it back together is getting really annoying and I feel like the comforter is always bunching up at the bottom. I think I'm doing it wrong. Next summer I might just get a thin quilt that still fits in or washing machine for the warm months.

@SugarplumsMom: it's very common, along with 2 twin mattresses in a king size bed. But I'm not a fan of either! We have a regular king and one big duvet, but I think that's why I am having a hard time finding a new duvet/cover.
@Sparkler: I would loooove to have Frette bedding, but it's way out of my price range.
I see it pop up on sites like Guilt from time to time though and it's definitely the style I'm looking for!

We use a homemade quilt gifted to us for our wedding. But we actually sleep under separate blankets. I don't believe in making the bed unless company is coming over. And I'm the first one out of the house in the morning, usually DH and LO are still asleep when I'm gone!
ETA: We also have sheet sets from Calvin Klein (Macy's) and a really cozy flannel set from Eddie Bauer for Target. I also really like Garnet Hill's sheets!

I actually sprung for white bedding and I'm so glad I did. We love love love it.
The duvet cover is pottery barn, the insert is pacific something- I know Costco sells it. Then a basic white sheet set from Costco. Oh, and the white quilt was a sample sale item from one Kings lane! The striped pillow covers and blanket are ikea!
I love my bed.
