I am looking for Maternity capri yoga/workout pants- that are OVER the belly (the under the belly ones just annoy me and fall down) for work. I am a size XL/XXL depending on the store. I have looked at the usual suspects (gap maternity, old navy maternity, motherhood) and I checked Nordstrom but they don't carry bigger than a L - and I wasn't about to spend $80 on a pair of capris. I will be wearing them to work daily- so $40 is about where I want to stay price wise. Any ideas on where to look??

Have you tried Target? All my yoga pants are from there and I have a variety of capri and regular ones. I'm a L though but I believe I saw XL and XXL there. I just get normal ones (non-marernity) the waist is usually stretchy enough to go over the belly for me but I'm also a very short person. Anyways not sure if this was helpful. Sorry if it isn't.

@cheert16: I'm not sure about price point, but have you looked into the specialty maternity activewear retailers online? I ask because that's what I had to do when I wanted a certain kind of maternity running pant.

The fold-over ones were the kind that I wore. They are so comfortable and I never had to worry about them falling off my belly, even at 40 weeks pregnant.

@avivoca: I think its because I carry a lot of my weight low- so when I wear the fold over kind they slide down while I am teaching.... not so cool to be in a class with 6-8 year olds with my pants falling down! those worked better for me when I was closer to the end of my pregnancy!

I had good luck with the old navy ones. They seem to run pretty big, so it might still be worth a try?

@Smurfette: I have the top ones- but I wanted something in capri length since I am ALWAYS super hot now!! Even when I fold the roll down ones up- I feel like they don't give enough support!

@Adira: This literally is awesome- they have their danksin line- which is what I wear to work all the time! I didn't know they had it in maternity! Its very exciting!

I was going to chime in and suggest fold-over capris, as well. You could even possibly get away with non-maternity. I was able to wear my fold-over yoga pants throughout pregnancy and just "unfolded" them over my belly. My shirt was covering them so nobody even noticed and it gave a little support.

Sounds like @Adira has you covered, but I have two different pairs of over belly yoga capris from Kohls that I love.
I find they run pretty big, and they're currently on sale!
