Oh, following!!
I can tell you to NOT buy this one for toddler purposes. It's too thin, and not meant for leaky diapers. It also doesn't hold up to multiple washes, even though I never dried it. After less than 10 washes it already started peeling. It has been moved to our guest bed

Just open your wallet and get something high quality - so worth it to not stress about your mattresses.

I just bought 2 of these when we transitioned L to a big bed. I've only washed each once but so far I'm happy. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00EJOYND8

We have this one - no complaints! DD has had some pretty heavy accidents at night and its never leaked through. http://www.amazon.com/SafeRest-Hypoallergenic-Waterproof-Mattress-Protector/dp/B003PWS9AI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1421823203&sr=8-2&keywords=mattress+protector

We have the same one as @Mrs. High Heels and have no complaints. She's had some leaky diapers, and a time daddy forgot to put a pull-up on at naptime, and the mattress is still stain-free! I have a backup cheap-o from Walmart that I put on when it's being washed/ect, and actually that has held up nicely too. However, we only use it occasionally.
