@oliviaoblivia: gahhh, okay... my in-laws are arriving soon, so it might not be until much later that I can run out, but I'll try a FRER tomorrow morning

@keepcalmcarrie: is it supposed to be one line that shows up? Or a +? Because I see one line.

@keepcalmcarrie: i see something! I vote FRER, too. Good luck and can't wait for an update!!

@littlek: It's one line, not a + (well, one line in the results window and one line in the control window of course!)

I saw it too, right away, but it's so so faint. Then DH couldn't see it, then he could. Then he told me to wait until I was late for my period - "that's a free way to find out!" Haha, no.

@ValentineMommy: Ugh, I missed your early morning update about your BFN - that stinks! Like you said, it is too early to be out. Are you testing again tomorrow morning? I'm going to retest with FRER.

    Any news from @marzipan?

And thanks everyone!! I'm still trying not to get my hopes up way too high, but it's tough. In the shower this morning, I already got totally carried away and thought of a way to announce around the fourth of July with a "Family of Four" kind of thing.

I hope May really IS the most fertile month of the year for this group!!!

Whoever updates the list next, would you mind adding me to May 31st? I joined a couple days ago, but I think it got lost in all the exciting BFPs around here. Thanks!

@keepcalmcarrie: Congrats mama!!! And thank you! I don't know what to do, honestly. When I got preg with DS, I didn't test until the day AF was due...so I don't know if I should wait or not? Every time I see the bfn, I feel a little crazy since I've had all these symptoms. AF isn't due until Tuesday.

@ValentineMommy: you never know. With my first pregnancy, I tested around 10 dpo and got a bfn. But when I tested on the day AF was due, I got a very dark bfp.

@keepcalmcarrie: AHHHH congrats honey!!!! that is a definite positive. happy a wonderful healthy 9 months

so frustrated over here. CD17 and still a high on my monitor. Still having a lot of EWCM and just wondering if my body is trying but not succeeding at ovulation. Oh well.

@keepcalmcarrie: looks identical to my 9dpo with my daughter! I used a target brand frer. Don't let people scare you that it's blue dye congrats mama!!!!!

    pomelo / 5791 posts

@NerdBee: Thanks!! It's so hard. With all the symptoms...I just feel crazy when I see the BFN! Argh. I had no idea this would be so nerve wracking. Since I have a million IC's, I just want to POAS every time I pee. I'm insane. Lol

  20. NerdBee

    clementine / 828 posts

@ValentineMommy: don't worry about feeling crazy. It is totally normal and that's what this group is here for

  21. ValentineMommy

    pomelo / 5791 posts

@NerdBee: Thank goodness. Cause DH is starting to doubt my sanity. I must stay away from POAS for a few days. I must I must I must! They are really discouraging me.

  22. Torchwood

    pomelo / 5607 posts

@keepcalmcarrie: I definitely see a line, congrats! And I second the not worrying that it's a blue dye. That's all I used with my first pregnancy, and they were 100% right when they popped up positive!

  23. Espion

    pomegranate / 3577 posts

@keepcalmcarrie: I definitely see something too. You are soooo pregnant, lady!

I'm here in California! Chasing my poor, beleaguered DH for some BD time. The trip was rather awful. Scheduled late in the day to see if E would sleep for most of the flight. (He slept only the last hour and a half. Kid was wired.) Then we didn't get our rental cars until around 1:30 AM. I mentioned in another thread, but we cut in front of Mario Lopez because we were pre-boarding with a baby.
I just worry about stress and sleep deprivation on DH's part. He only got 45 minutes of sleep and he's here for work. Can't be good. I haven't gotten a positive on my OPK yet, though.

  24. Aria

    persimmon / 1121 posts

@Espion: I hope your trip starts to go a little more smoothly and you enjoy California! Good luck!

  25. NerdBee

    clementine / 828 posts

@ValentineMommy: aww, don't be discouraged! But if its stressing you out, waiting until AF is due may not be a bad idea. My DH was so funny. When I tested bfn at 10 dpo he thought that was it for that cycle so when he saw the bfp a few days later, he actually shouted "HOLY CRAP!" Hope you get a really pleasant surprise soon! FX!

I am so excited to see we have BFPs already and it's only May 1st! I am hanging out at 6 DPO, trying not to symptom spot too obsessively since it's still pretty early. I definitely have light cramping and sore boobs, but those could just as easily be PMS symptoms.

  28. MaryM

    pomelo / 5129 posts

@keepcalmcarrie: Congrats! Keep us informed if you pee on anything else

@angelachase: I'm also 6 DPO and feeling crampy.

    @keepcalmcarrie: congrats!

@Espion: idk where you are but of you're anywhere near me it's soo hot too. Hopefully tonight you guys get caught up on some sleep! That's a cool story about your flight though!!

This thread has just taken off! Getting closer to when I *think* O will be but dh is working the next 7 nights and LO has had a cold so hopefully it all still works out, but we'll see...

Suddenly realizing the "trying" part is actually happening this cycle and getting butterflies! Trying to just enjoy the whole process as this will 99% (barring an oopsy baby) be my last.

  30. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@Espion: sorry about a stressful trip. When things get stressful I become a little bit more okay with it taking some time to get my bfp. I just wish I knew I would get one! Then I wouldn't mind the wait.

  31. HeartAbandoned

    clementine / 933 posts

@MrsMccarthy: I am RIGHT THERE with you! I have even told a few of my friends, "Even if I can never get pregnant, I can be ok with that if I have to be. I just want to read the last chapter and know how it ends!" It's the waiting that kills me. KILLS ME.

  32. Espion

    pomegranate / 3577 posts

@Aria: I hope so too! I'm hoping we get a free rest day before a + OPK, ha!

@googly-eyes: It is so freaking hot right now. It doesn't help that it was a balmy 60 degrees back home . I want to take E to the beach, but I don't have any sort of umbrella for him. I also have no idea where to take him that wouldn't be crowded/overwhelming for a beach newbie, considering I've been to only a couple beaches in my life.

@MrsMccarthy: If we can't get it this go around we have to wait until August, and ideally next year. I'm getting too old to wait that long. But I absolutely cannot get pregnant next cycle due to a work thing in February 2015. So...more stress!

  33. littlek

@Espion: I'm sorry the first part of your trip has been tiring. Hopefully you can relax and enjoy the rest of your trip!

@keepcalmcarrie: I don't know I am seeing something or if my eyes are playing tricks on me. Good luck!

ETA: I totally assumed it was a + one. Oh my gosh-- congrats!!! I am so happy for you!

  36. MaryM

    pomelo / 5129 posts

@simplyfelicity: Well, I'm still spotting and my temps aren't as high above the coverline as usual, so I'm not too optimistic this month (at least trying not to be).

  37. angelachase

    apricot / 306 posts

@MaryM: When are you going to test? I originally said Tuesday, then felt like I should wait til Thursday.....and now I'm leaning toward Tuesday again.

  38. keepcalmcarrie

    persimmon / 1096 posts

    @simplyfelicity: thanks! no, it's not a + test. it's just a second line for a positive.

@As Time Goes By: You're here! Sorry about AF, but it sounds like you are regulating so that's great! I am waiting to POAS, too. We have to keep each other strong!
