@mrs.shinerbock: lol yum! I've been eating pineapple core as well. Also Brazil nuts are supposed to be good as well. We'll see! Here is to hoping!

@mrs.shinerbock: Ahh, it's so hard not to symptom spot! I'm totally an early POASer, I could never wait when I knew there was a possibility that it would show up positive, which is probably why I got my BFP with #1 at 9dpo

@JoJoGirl: I think you still need a few more days of temps to be sure. I think it's really possible you didn't O until CD13.

@YogiRunner: I forgot to add my POAS date! May 4th!

@aphelila: Oh men, lol. I was surprised he kind of turned me away, but mind you I didn't try super hard.

That's true... Still sucks. I work in healthcare and see so many young girls getting pregnant, youngest being 12. Also saw a newborn baby that was going through drug (cocaine) withdrawal. It's sick and it makes me angry and sad that these girls can easily get KU but I can't.

And then I started spotting heavily out of nowhere yesterday at CD14, like almost a light flow I would usually get just before my period. Like WTF is THIS shit! Bleh.

I think I ovulated already, on day 13 or 14, so I'm moving up my testing day! I'm going to test may 8th @yogirunner.

@travellingbee: if this cycle works out I would be due January 17th, so hopefully I'll be joining you!

Off the pill and my cheapies just came in the mail today! Woohoo! It's real now. Not too hopeful to get PG right away as I'm currently sick and my body is trying to regulate, but there's always a possibility.

@hellonheels: I hear you, I work at a school and the demographics are such that I'm surrounded by all these big families that started very young. For example, out of 60 students, literally NONE of them are only children. I have several that are one of 5 or 6. Many of the moms are around my age (late 20s) and already have 10 year olds...

Maybe ovulation bleeding? I've never had it and I've heard it's rare but it happens!

    grapefruit / 4361 posts

@JoJoGirl: Hate to say it because I know it's a bummer, but based on your temps I don't think you ovulated yet... it's still decently early in your cycle, fingers crossed! I know what a pain it is to wait, I have PCOS so I ovulate usually days 17-25, and two cycles it was CD33 and CD31

@travellingbee: I don't know. We weren't working with an RE, I just had a Rx for progesterone and clomid from my nurse practitioner and didn't use the clomid because I just weaned LO last week. So I am going to call today and see what the OB wants to do.

I am on CD 18 and still waiting to ovulate. I promised myself I would be more laid back this time, but it does not seem to be working. I feel like my body was gearing up to ovulate, but just hasn't yet.

@mrskrb: you're on a medicated IUI cycle, right? I can't recall, clomid or femara/letrozole? I just finished my letrozole last night. My ovaries are kinda freaking out, esp on the right, and more intense than any usual O pains. I'm only CD7 today, is that my bod gearing up to superovulate?? What do you think @travellingbee? (Congratulations btw!!)

  26. MrsKRB

    nectarine / 2465 posts

@YogiRunner: Yes, I just finished Letrozole on Monday and I am definitely feeling more gassy/bloated/pinchy than normal. I really hope I don't have like 6 eggs growing in there lol When do you go for your ultrasound? Mine is on Friday. I'm getting so antsy!

  27. travellingbee

    hostess / papaya / 10219 posts

@YogiRunner: are they trying to get you to super ovulate or just to ovulate. I had lots of aches in my ovaries leading up to O and I had 3 follivles. Are you triggering?

  28. MrsKRB

    nectarine / 2465 posts

@YogiRunner: what is your dosage? I took 5mg daily days 3-7

  29. YogiRunner

    clementine / 849 posts

@mrskrb: good to know I'm not alone! Hoping these are good signs? But I totally thought the same thing... "how many follicles are sprouting down there right now!?" My ultrasound is also on Friday Sending you lots of good vibes!

ETA: Yup, 5 mg from CD3-7 (I'm actually on CD 8 today, not CD 7)
@travellingbee: It's to superovulate. I O on my own but lately it's been fairly late (CD22ish), and my LP was only 9 days for awhile (randomly last month it was 13, I am attributing that to nutrition, acupuncture, and herbs/supplements). And yup, I'm triggering too. Scared out of my mind to stab myself with a needle, not gonna lie.

This month I switched over to whole milk since I heard it's supposed to be good for fertility but oh boy is my waistline expanding lol anyone switch over to whole milk?

  33. HellOnHeels

    clementine / 899 posts

@DesertDreams88: Wow, that's nuts! I can't imagine having a 10 year old right now, lol. When my Mum was my age she had a 6 year old and a 3 year old. Have to keep telling myself that what will be, will be. If nothing come summer we're gonna go see our doc and get tested.
Maybe? It kind of felt like I was getting AF but went away by the next morning and it hasn't happened since. But I still had crazy amounts of EWCM yesterday and a bit this AM (though I'm pretty sure some or most of it was DH's...). Just a major mind-f*ck lol.

Whoa! A lot of action going on here!

@mrs. shinerbock: Congrats! Joy! Way to start us off this month. Sending , and :goodluck:!

@DesertDreams88, @auggiefrog, @ladygrey, @bandmommy and @ms.line and @travellingbee (in other posts) and anyone else who has welcomed me: Thank you! I feel the and support already which is already making things a bit brighter.

@auggiefrog: Yes, I need encouragement! Tests results are starting to come in...and DH has his repeat SA tomorrow. I'll start posting more on the IF check-in, but here are the high (and low) lights...

FSH: 9.8 but it is what it is at my age... my RE said to not be discouraged. Phew!

    Estrogen: normal

LH: someone dropped the ball and so I need to repeat Day 3 labs next month. Argh. Frustrating!

HSG: all good! The RE said "A++" and after the FSH number this made me feel better.

    AMH, etc still to come!

I'm a little crampy right now since I just the HSG a few hours ago. Time to pop a few more ibuprofen! I should be surging in the next few days then we will try some BD-ing for the sake of those few super swimmers. (Not trying to be insensitive about DH's low count, etc. ... but gotta' laugh or I will cry.)

  35. TemperanceBrennan

    pear / 1998 posts

@LoveHope: I love whole milk, but we keep 1% on hand too so I can watch my calories. Didn't know it was supposed to be good for fertility!

  36. Amorini

    persimmon / 1132 posts

@LoveHope: Yes, I do all whole milk, whole fat yogurt...bring it on. There's some good science on good fat being super important for mamma and fetal nutrition, however I have also read some bees laying off dairy helping their fertility. I guess it depends on how it works for you, but I, for one, love the green light to go whole fat.

  37. LoveHope

    kiwi / 689 posts

@TemperanceBrennan: yes, I read that whole milk/yogurt/cheese is very helpful for fertility and to stay away from low fat dairy. I love almond milk and still drink it but I've added whole milk too. Not to fond of it but I'm willing to try anything that can help.

    @mrs.shinerbock: Congratulations!!!

Ugh I am already feeling discouraged you guys! I woke up yesterday with a sore throat, and still feeling crappy today. Who wants to BD when they're all snotty?

Also, I've had the longest period ever! I started last Thursday and am still having light spotting as of today. So odd. I guess that's just my body getting used to no bc. I've also been peeing so much! Apparently I've been retaining water for a very long time!

  39. LoveHope

    kiwi / 689 posts

@Amorini: yes same here. I've always chosen low fat dairy because of the high fat but I need not to worry about the fat and focus on my fertility diet. I eat healthy for the most part.

@Amorini: Yay! Glad to hear all your tests checked out so well! Fx for your husband's second SA! (I've already told my husband his sperm production line must look like a clown college... better to laugh that cry!)
