@MrsMcD: Girl you are in definitely part of this group. I feel you.

@MrsMcD: I totally do that. And I seem so sane to others! :manical laugh: Sometimes I wonder what I could do with my life if I wasn't wasting so much brain power on TTC.

@Raindrop: I seriously want ribs now. But I can't cook them. I am not doing anything more complicated than frozen gyoza and an old fashioned tonight.

My POAS date will likely be sliding because I am CD18 and still haven't seen a positive OPK. I'll be using my last one tonight, so if it's still negative I guess we'll just have to start watching for a temp spike. This is really frustrating. I read so many people say they ovulated nearly on time after m/c so I don't know what to expect.

@PawPrints: So sorry you're dealing with this! For what it's worth, with both of my m/c's AF was about a week late afterwards the first time, so unless my LP was really weird, O was probably a week late too.

@MrsMcD: I'm cd 8 today too. The thought may or may or may not have crossed my mind that maybe just maybe they'll find I'm really pregnant at my annual this Saturday !

@dc yoga bee: Hi cycle twin!

I was hoping that when I put my legs in the stirrups yesterday - whoops! - a baby would come flying out!!!!! So ridiculous, yet so true.

ETA: I was legit disappointed when I walked out without a baby in my arms.

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@MrsMcD: LOL, I just spit my soda out!!!!!!!!!!

ETA: Not as funny, but still ridiculous. I wrote on a prayer card in church praying I'd get pregnant that month! And we're not even members yet! Not only did God laugh in my face (kidding), but now the church knows we're trying to conceive! At least I only put first name last initial, and the church has 3600 people

@dc yoga bee: That's not ridiculous. Prayers are prayers. You don't need to be a member. But a while ago, someone at my church was routinely submitting an anonymous prayer for a baby. I would spend so much time trying to figure out who it was each Sunday and I'm sure that was a sin of some sort.

ETA: Then I always think, "Lord, help me if that's my mom submitting the request on my behalf." Ugh.. concerned parents... how dare they be so concerned.

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@MrsMcD: LOL @ trying to figure out who it was. Now this one is ridiculous- we BD cd 7, and I secretly wish the sperm will just hang out for 10 days and woila! Pregnant! Or, I'm hoping that a pap smear will somehow clear out any lingering cobwebs and clear a path, and woila! Pregnant!

You know you've been TTC for too long when your husband catches a glimpse of House Hunters on TV and yells out to you in another room. "Hey babe! Some guy on House Hunters is putting royal jelly in his smoothie. I paused the TV for you."

ETA: It was the "couple searches for home in New England" episode, in case anyone is that interested. Italian guy with thick eyebrows.

@MrsMcD: I LOVE it!! We have to find the humor in it somehow! Prior to ttc, I would pick out future baby gear. Yeah right, need the baby first! Now, I pour over symptom spotting, baby dancing schedules, and the debate between missionary and doggy for best chances!

  15. dc yoga bee

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@MrsMcD: I'm watching House Hunters on demand right now waiting for Survivor to come on. So lame I know. Gonna put it on now!

ETA: Ugh it's not on demand on Comcast. Is it under currently airing?

You guys are HILARIOUS. This is a terrible sin, so close your ears if you are likely to be offended, but every time I am in church, I spend half the time meditating (I'm not religious, but I think this might be a legit use of church time) and the other half surrepitiously looking around and playing "pregnant or just fat?" which is not very nice.

ETA: What is with all these stupid new HGTV shows??? I want Carter Can, HH, and Hawaii Life 24/7. (And, yeah, I know Carter has been gone for ages. But a girl can dream.)

@septca: I find myself trying to see if EVERYONE is pregnant these days!! Colleagues, cashiers at grocery store, dogs walking down the street.

  18. Raindrop

@septca: I thought I couldn't cook ribs either but the costco package has cooking instructions super easy and the ribs turn out really good! It's just bake 500 degrees uncovered for 20 minutes and then bake for 350 degress covered for 1:40 minutes. Than bam perfect ribs. So good... Costco just does a simple dry rub on it... so we have some bbq sauce to go with it but the dry rub is okay on it's own... I like it with some sweet bbq sauce though... man I want ribs again good thing we have left overs!

@MrsMcD: I'm on CD7 of my 2nd round of Clomid. The only monitoring I did the first time was CD21 bloodwork, which confirmed ovulation. I'm anovulatory PCOS, so confirming ovulation is all my doctor was really concerned about last cycle. She said since I ovulated last time I should again on the same dosage this time, so she's not monitoring me. I took my last pill this morning and now just count the days until O, and then count the days until I can test. I'm using OPKs, tracking CM, and temping to confirm O on my own.

If this cycle doesn't end in a BFP, I'll do one more round of Clomid with my OB/GYN, and if that doesn't work, she'll refer me to an RE, at which point I'm guessing we'll do more tests.

@HeartAbandoned: Thanks for sharing! That sounds about exactly what I plan to do. I'm praying this cycle is it for you! Get to BDing soon, lady! Woot woot!!

@MrsMcD: Thanks! I'm trying not to get my hopes too high, but not necessarily succeeding. I guess we'll see! I had a ton of EWCM this morning, which I thought was super weird to be so early in the cycle. Maybe it's a good sign? Super hyper fertile month? A girl can dream, right!

  22. deactivated_account

    GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts

@HeartAbandoned: I've had EWCM as early as CD7 before on a couple of occasions. So either not weird or we are both weird. I just confirmed this with FF. I'm really hoping its a good sign for you.

@MrsMcD: Oh, good to know! I'm happy to be weird with you, if that's the case. Here's hoping for good things for both of us in June

    CD: 25
    Cycles trying: 5

So, I know I joined super late, but my POAS date is the 20th. I took a test (not fmu) and it was stark white. So bummed. Is there any chance I'm still pregnant? Or should I join the June club?

Today is CD13 with an expected O day of CD15. So this is like the tridium of BD. (Years of Catholic school have pounded into my head that Holy Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday are the three holiest days of the year.) O-2, O-1, and O are like the tridium. Maybe I need to be committed.

@intotheocean: I don't know... But It's hard to be in limbo! You might want to check out this thread: http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/may-be-this-is-our-month-may-2014-poas-thread/page/24#post-1633850 - it's a lot bigger, so someone may have a better answer for you.

@intotheocean: Welcome! Do you know what DPO you are? Or what your LP length is? This is tough. If you are LP 12-14 than it's only DPO 5-7 which are both really early and so you most definitely can get a BFP later.

Woohoo everyone I have a symptom! I have some mild cramping. I have had cramping before but I'm going to go out on the limb and say this is more intense than the other months I was actually not KU. Or this could be completely my imagination.

Confession a few months ago I thought I was cramping but it was just constipation. Those two feelings are very similar!

Well I'm officially on CD 35. If AF doesn't show up today it will be my longest cycle since stopping BC. I probably won't test til Saturday.

How's everyone doing today? Anything exciting going on?

I am already planning my attack method for next cycle... The first time around, the cycle I got my BFP I was taking/doing/using a huge list of things, but it was also my first month of good tubes, so I never knew whether those other things factored in. For my second BFP (last month), the only "above and beyond" things I used were preseed and soft cups. So I guess those will be my "tools" for next cycle, but I also need a good BD plan for June.
