    @LIL BEAN: halfway there! I'm CD11 so just waiting to ovulate, hopefully I will do so on CD15 or around there. That and a normal LP are my biggest hopes right now beyond BFP.

    This kind of recent, umm, excitement (for lack of a better word) is the type of stuff that I am hoping to avoid in this 6 month plus thread. I really don't understand why we are having a problem in here. Mrs McCarthy, put your name on the list wherever you want to make yourself feel better. Otherwise I think we should keep this group moving at the pace it already is at. I know some girls here have already joined the general June poas thread. Why do we need to having this thread mirror that one?

    @MrsMcD: I agree that we don't need the drama, but knowing you (if I can be so bold), I think you will really like the solution we came up with. Lots of support, no deadlines.

    @MrsMcD: Haha I'm terrible I hate change so I'm with you sister! But I'm also the go with flow type person so if everyone wanted it the new way... I would learn to be okay with that.

    @MrsMcD: I think we have a solution that works for everyone. No worries here

    Gosh it's so boring here at work today... I'm writing mid-year evaluations, I'm not a manger but we have to write our own and give feed back to all the co-workers we work with to give our manager a better view of what everyone does in our group. Super lame. *snores* I had a month to do this but of course I waited to the last day. But I want to say so did most of my co-workers!

    Is anyone else having more fun?

    I just popped on to catch up, and I'm in full agreement with starting more of a support, less of a POAS countdown, similar in my mind to the IF board. I'll be joining back on once it rolls over after the weekend.

    @septca: Great idea *high five*

    @HeartAbandoned:
    What's your favorite thing to do on a beach vacation? Absolutely nothing. I like to sit in a chair and read with a cold drink. When I get too hot, I like to go swimming, then sit my butt back in the chair... repeat until it's time for cocktails.

    What is your ideal vacation - beach, mountains, amusement park, big city, something else? I love international travel and visiting other places, but I seriously beach vacations. DH and I trade off "travel" with "vacation" (which usually means beach). Last summer we went to Europe, so this year is a vacation summer. We have three separate beach trips planned and I. Cannot. Wait.

    Lie on a lounge chair and read. And drink!

    What is your ideal vacation - beach, mountains, amusement park, big city, something else?
    Since we live just 20 minutes from the beach now, I like going to the mountains or a fun city on trips, but I also love a vacation at the beach like in Mexico because it's sooooo relaxing. The last time we did that was our honeymoon 5 years ago!

    Who is around today? I feel like I am counting down the minutes until I can leave... I feel like death warmed over today and want to leave early so I can take advantage of having child care until 5:45 and just crawl into bed for a couple of hours.

    I'm here! I am so glad it's Friday. Today's gonna be painfully long (7:30a-6p) and my boobs have been super sore since yesterday and it's driving me crazy! I need some distraction!

  32. dc yoga bee

    Another blaring positive opk this morning at 9:30am, and peak on fertility monitor. So, I guess today really is ovulation day like normal.We will BD one.more.time this afternoon, and then that's O, O-2, O-1, & O-5. I'll get my progesterone checked on Wednesday.

  33. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

    @mrstictactoe: Can my answer be both? I loved when we went to Thailand and Cambodia for our honeymoon because we had beach and international travel fun! I'd love to see Indonesia or South America for more of the same. I really want to see France Spain and Italy as well.

    @MrsMcD: There will still be a list and a countdown, but it won't be held to the confines of the calendar. Let's say my POAS date in May was May 10th... after that passes I take myself off the list, then when I have a new POAS date (for June), I just add that to the bottom of the list... so the list will always cover roughly 30 days rather than a specific month.
