We only did food in the evening for a month or so and then started on lunch+dinner and on the weekends we would do breakfast. It wasn't until she was probably 8/9 months that she REALLY got interested. We didn't supplement with vitamins or anything since formula has plenty

I introduced purees at dinner for DS when he was 5 months old. Per the pedi, we upped it to 3 meals a day when he was 6 months. He'd have a bottle first then 30 minutes later, have solids.

We didn't add a second meal until about 1.5 or 2 months after we a started solids. She didn't actually start getting hungry for solids until maybe 9 or 9.5 months.

6:30 breastfeed
9:30 bottle 3.5 oz
12:30 bottle 3.5 oz
3:30 bottle 3.5-4.5 oz
6:30 breastfeed
8:30 breastfeed

1 meal of solids about an hour after milk whenever convenient, increasing to 2 meals at 7 months.

@jetsa: I actually ended up having Xander start eating lunch at daycare instead of dinner at home in order to get him to eat one solid meal a day because he kept falling asleep on the ride home from daycare and I couldn't get him to eat at all, haha! So you could do that if you want to make sure he eats, but I don't think it matters too much!

@jetsa: Yeah, I ended up having him do lunch at daycare around 7 or 8 months (when he was actually interested in eating) and then added breakfast at daycare, and added dinners last once he was down to two naps a day and was actually awake and wanted to eat in the evenings!
