So this warning has been floating all over my FB feed today:
7 confirmed cases of measles in our area (South Orange County, CA). I know there are quite a few bees in the area too.
This particularly caught my attention, "...a substantial increase from the zero to one cases seen on average annually."
Glad we just got the MMR vax yesterday!

@shopaholic: I'm so sorry you have this happening near you. It's my understanding vaccines can take a couple weeks to be fully effective so I would probably keep your LO out of the public as much as possible for a little while.

Oh no! This is too scary....knowing that it's airborne is just too big of a risk to choose NOT to vaccinate IMO. Hope it does not spread any further. Take care and stay safe!

@shopaholic: i've been seeing that news report floating around too! glad our babies just turned one and got immunized for the MMR! hope no new cases appear. so scary and too close to home.
