Would you consider continuing pumping after your LO weans so you could donate your milk to someone in need? I have though about it, but I am not sure I would be committed enough.

If I knew a mom that at that time was going to be in need and was unable to provide bm herself (or himself for the dads that are in need) then YES! If it was a "just in case" kind of thing then no.

I've been pumping a bit and my LO won't take a bottle. I have about 100 oz in my freezer I'm considering donating.

I'm currently pumping and donating to a baby, and I'm not sure if I'll continue past a year. Even though I plan to bf my LO for longer. I guess I just feel like, when she can drink other milk (like cow or goat milk), she won't really need my milk. We'll see, though.
Some milk banks won't take milk that's pumped after your LO is a year old because the make-up of the milk is less beneficial for younger babies (not enough fat, maybe?).
