If you give milk in cups at daycare how do you do it?
Is it only at meal and snack times?
ETA: I'm talking about in lieu of formula OR breastmilk. When they are completely transitioned out of formula/breastmilk in bottles.

We put it in a (leaky) Zoli or Thinkbaby and she gets it at snack time and lunch.

@autumnlove: bahahah I love the "leaky" comment. Do you give her the equivalent of what she took in formula/bm throughout the day?

@regberadaisy: Haha, that stupid cup leaked all over my diaper bag last night.
We give her a 6-8 ounce bottle of milk and a cup for water for the whole day at daycare. She drinks milk in the morning and evening at home.

Yes, they only give kids milk if they are seated so it's just at snack and meal times. They provided the cups.
@autumnlove: does the thinkbaby leak? my friend was wondering about that one.

@Andrea: I have the TB and it did not leak at all the beginning but has started to recently. But that is bc M launches that thing every where. But lately the leaking has decreased for some reason! I plan to use the TB for milk and buy a camelbak for water.

@regberadaisy: I send in a straw cup with almond milk. LO doesnt drink much she just takes tiny sips so that one cup is enough. Other people at her daycare bring in a carton of milk so their LO's can get refills during the day

Our daycare provides food and milk. DD gets a sippy cup (one of theirs) at all meals and snacks, usually with cows milk. I think occasionally they do water instead. Once a week, with the parents' permission, they do juice as a treat.

Milk at daycare is offered at lunch and morning snack and water is available through out the day as well as offered at afternoon snack.

LO is 11mo and I send the following:
4oz bottle for AM nap
4oz cup of breastmilk for lunch
4oz bottle for PM nap
4-6oz water for snacking
I use a zoli cup for water and milk. He drinks about 9-10 ounces of the 12 I send and then we nurse AM/PM
Took me a whille to get used to to decrease in ounces and sending a cup!

Our day care gives milk in an open cup. In the infant room, I sent it in a thermos, but now in the toddler room, they have a gallon in the fridge at all times, which is provided by the parent whose turn it is to provide group snacks that week.
