Help me. I know nothing about video games. DS (5) is only asking Santa for “Minecraft boxes”. What. Does. This. Mean. He doesn’t play Minecraft, I assume he’s watched this on YouTube. Anyway, I can’t get him to ask for something else bc the other thing he wanted is a huge hot wheels garage that’s DEFINITELY not happening. Does he mean blind boxes? When I google Minecraft toys it seems like there is a ton of stuff out there and multiple series?

I bought a similar set for my son at Target that comes with a few different characters. They have armor that is interchangeable, some of the sets have other "gear" too.

Is he into Legos? There are a ton of lego sets that are Minecraft themed. Technically they come in a box

@Chuckles: He is into LEGO! I’ve been going back and forth between a Minecraft set or the new Mario starter set. Maybe I should just pick a Minecraft one and call it a day.

@LadyDi: You're welcome! My 8 year old is allllll about minecraft right now! We have a few lego sets too. The lego minecraft crafting box is on his Christmas list.
