Have your kids seen these movies? A friend had a Minions themed party for her 3 year old and my kid had no idea who these yellow people were. Haha.

I voted for myself since dd is only 1, but I've seen the first too. Dh actually saw the third without me. He really likes the movies and watches them whenever they're on tv.

yup. my son is 2.5 and he loves movies. We watch way more than I care to admit. So he has seen the first two.

Parts of Despicable Me, but he didn't like the "scary man." We took him to see Minions as his first theater movie and he loved it!

I was desperate for time alone when the ILs were visiting, so I kind of forced them to take DS to Minions. So he's seen that one. I haven't seen any of them. He has a really cool Minion hat his aunt knitted him, but really has no interest in it/them despite having seen the movie. Oh well, maybe DS2 will like it someday.

But the second one was awful, I hated it.

LO hasn't seen any of the movies listed (oddly enough, as we're definitely not anti-screen time!!!) but knows who/what minions are from daycare and everyone else's kids talking about them!

Yes, he's seen all 3. At 2.5 he is obsessed with minions. He calls them onions so nobody knows what he is talking about.
He asks to watch the movie on a regular basis.

I don't think he's ever seen the movies (maybe part of the first one), but he knows who the minions are. He learns about a lot of characters from the other kids at school, I think.
