My state is a semi-finalist, and my cousin is the back-stage hairstylist for Miss America
I saw my mom in the audience with her friends when they were cutting to each state's fan section when they made the top 15! Everyone in my family is a huge pageant buff lol

Did Miss Massachusetts seriously victim blame on the rape question? I just don't understand these competitions. I only watch for the dresses but they make me rage.

@Radish: I totally thought her answer was sketchy too. Right at the end she kinda added in something about drinking too much or whatever & I'm glad she was out of time because I don't think I would have liked where that was headed.

@Mrs. Sunshine: Yeah, she said something like women and men need to be educated wish a freshman course so they are aware that they should watch their drinks.
