I am looking for some summer activities to do with my infant. He's currently 8mo, and won't turn 1yo until September. Unfortunately, there's not a lot to do around town for an infant, especially in the summer, since it's more for older children (over 2). We have a zoo, and I hope I can go there occasionally, it's just a 30 minute drive (as is most things) so it's not something I'd do regularly. That's the cheapest things we have around. We have the Museum of Play by us, but that's expensive (although I have heard people who work in schools can get in free). I can go to the library in town, but they have very few things for infants.

What are some things that you've done with your baby under 1yo? Backyard suggestions, going places (cheap or free is ideal) or any other suggestions are welcomed.
