Some moms (maybe 5 or 6 women) that I met at a baby group are all planning to join a mom and baby walking group. We are going on our first walk tomorrow morning from 10-11:30am. The location where we are walking is on the same street as me. I offered for them to come over after our walk to warm up from the cold, have coffee and hang out for a bit. We all have young babies, from 2-5 months.

My question is, what kind of food, snacks, drinks would you have?

We would be hanging out around lunch time. I'm wondering if I should have something more than just coffee/tea and maybe some muffins. I love to entertain and have people over. It's really nice to finally have a group of other moms to hang out with and I'm hoping this is the start of some friendships that will last a while. I want to make sure people enjoy themselves, but don't want to seem like I'm trying too hard? Do you know what I mean?

Bonus points if it's something I can make ahead tonight or put in the slow cooker.
