I had a long, painful labor with Charlie that ended up with a c-section, and overall it was not a positive experience (horrible nurses and labor nurse).
With Olive I got my epidural quickly, progressed quickly, pushed for 40 minutes, and had a very positive experience (great doctors, nurses).
How did your labor experiences compare?

My second experience was much better & very healing from my first! I do wish it wouldn't have been *quite* so long though. Lol

i don't know yet, but am about to find out in 10 weeks or so!! i hope it is even better than the first time (which by all means was as routine as routine gets.... but still hurt more than anything i have ever experienced... yikes...)!

Both mine were equally easy, but the labor/delivery time was cut in half with the second.

My labors were almost identical. Both were about 12 hours long, including 30 minutes of pushing, and both kids were born at about the same time at night (8:31 pm for DD and 8:59 pm for DS). The only thing that was different is that I had some postpartum issues with my second thanks to cord/placenta problems, and he had a giant head. 
so I guess #2 was alittle bit harder, but really they were pretty much the same.

It was easier in every way! 10 days early, Faster, arrived at hospital at 8cm, no induction, three pushes... Post partum was also much better and milk came in quicker.

Both were easy, but my first took 12 hours. 2nd took FOUR hours! Super fast
My 2nd was a bigger baby too

@chopsuey119: That's good to hear! My 1st LO was born premature so labor was very easy. I'm hoping to go full term when I'm pregnant with #2, so I have been scared about what "real labor" is like.

Both labors were pretty easy with no complications, but my 2nd was a lot faster!
1st labor = 9.5 hours
2nd labor = 5 hours
My 2nd labor would've gone even faster, but part of my water sac wasn't broken and it was keeping the baby inside. The nurse wanted to prolong my labor so that she had time to put antibiotics in me since I tested positive for GBS during my pregnancy.

I didn't labor the second time but my c-section was a breeze. I had a postpartum hemmorhage that wasn't pleasant but it was still a better experience than my first labor & c-section.

I am terrified that my second will be easier! I mean, I know that's good, but my first was only 4 hours start to finish. I barely made it into the LDR room! I do NOT WANT A HOMEBIRTH! lol.

First labor was 13hours and I almost died. (high bp)
Second labor was 6hrs and I almost died (high bp)
Third labor was 4hrs and was wonderful!!! ( although I had GD and High BP but it was well treated this time)

My second experience was hard emotionally, but easy in the sense that there was no labor
