Do you remember what it's like having a newborn?
I'm so used to my walking/taking baby.. Im really freaked out about having an unsteady necked newborn!
Nervous about starting over on the nursing front too!

I'm actually excited!! I know every baby is different, but I feel like I know so much more now than I knew when Wagon Jr. was a newborn. I knew NOTHING when he was born. I think this time around will be a lot more fun and easier to bond with the baby. I'm just worried about Wagon Jr.'s transition. Hoping having grandparents around will help!

I'm sure I have forgotten so many things but I hope it'll all be easier, with the baby, when I have #2. I think #1 will freak out about having a sibling so I think that will be my main concern when we have another baby.

the newborn stage is awesome the second time around. they are so easy!!! all they do is sleep. and you're not all stressed out the second time around not knowing what you're doing, so you can appreciate it more. i loved the newborn stage with olive! she was so easy to take out because she would sleep for 3-4 hours at a time in the carrier, stroller, anywhere!

It had been 3 years and a few months for me when 2.0 came along so I was scared I'd forgotten a lot too... But it all came back to me pretty quick! You'll be fine Like Mrs Bee said too... It's much more enjoyable the second time around. I was sleep deprived but didn't feel it was as terrible as much.

I too am nervous. I was holding an acquaintance's 5w old baby the other day and it felt so weird.
I'm also worried about #1's reaction when I hold #2 since we were in the nursery this weekend at church and DD wanted on my lap anytime I held the baby that was in there.

Oh man! I feel so much better hearing that the 2nd time around is usually easier. I was starting to get nervous this weekend about having to go through the newborn stage again. I AM dreading the lack of sleeping and bfing though (mainly the possibility of getting mastitis again.. ACK!). But I think I'll feel more confident as a mother this time around since I"ll kinda know what I"m doing.
